Duello silence the doubters if she can turn in performances like this Wisconsin is certainly a contender. I was impressed Wisconsin sure knows how to develop a lead and this showed they can close even in a close set. Wisconsin is a contender despite the losses this season no one has showed any level of true consistency. Good win Badgers. I don't know what Nebraska team that was in the first two sets but they looked lethargic for the first half of this match. I am sure they can turn it around but if they hope to get back to the Final Four they cannot have another performance like that.

Foecke has admitted she got a touch on that ball. It was the correct call. And on the BTN replay it didn't look like she was close to it...must be the angle at the field house. You literally can't tell from the replays on the BTN cameras I actually saw it on the replay, but you have to look at Foecke's left hand, not the right which in the foreground, which is where my focus originally was. Something about the lighting makes you focus on the one not the other.

Happy with this match. Very happy. What a showing from Duello. Gillis stayed in check and the Dana/Hilley connection seemed to click from start to finish. I also applaud the defensive effort. Moving forward, I'd love to see WI stay healthy and take care of business the next two matches. Big trips loom at the end of the month and I believe they can do it! Moving forward, yes, but I doubt you will see WI play like this again. This game was one the best performances from them I have seen in years. The team's attitude was one: beating Nebraska, and they achieved it. Their loss still stung and they wanted revenge. Revenge can be very powerful. I'd like to see a rematch on a neutral court.

Hmmm. I rewatched the match last night, and there will be lots of things the coaches will think the badgers can do better. Granted, Neb can play better too, much better than those first two sets.
