Zana Muno should be at least HM. Muno and Harker both. Harker was conference digs leader, but was on a winless team and/or may have been "sacrificed" to get Okaro onto All-P12, but Muno was the leader of what might be the best floor defense in the country.

By floor defense I mean digging. Stanford leads this category because their blocking and serving are far superior to UCLA's. The fact that a team that is 8th in blocking can be 2nd in opponent hitting % indicates how stellar their digging is.

Wouldn't serving and blocking have something to do with this number?

I agree that UCLA has best floor defense. Harker is very good, but she had more opportunities than some others.

How can there be any question (with usual caveat that everyone is healthy) -- the eye test wins it for UCLA in spades. No other team is even close IMO.

I really think kill percentage (both own and opponent) is an underrated metric. It becomes more important as the level of play increases IMO.

I think Deluzio got robbed for FOY. I know I am biased but watching them side by side my eye saw better sets from her than McLaughlin. I also think Deluzio spread the ball better. Plus Colorado finished higher and won the head to head 2-0. Oh well I guess everyone else saw something else.

It was pretty much a toss-up between McLaughlin and DeLuzio. I thought DeLuzio had the slight edge, but clearly I underestimated the bad karma of Shady Mahoney's abuse of the challenge system to slither by ASU. I have a feeling the coaches took notice of that.

Cool. Was hoping for more for Alade, but that honorable mention list is some pretty good company.

I really think that Plummer is one of the 3 frontrunners for the NPOY. Hope she makes history and win it on her Sophomore season!
