This is what I heard regarding the Pacific Transfers: Emily Baptista just recently lost her mom. She was a local girl and wanted to go somewhere that didn't remind her of her mom, so she decided to transfer out of Pacific. Olivia Petnicki was a walk on at Pacific. She knew that she wouldn't be the starting libero next year so she decided to transfer to a school where she may play more. Skylar Wine lost her starting OH position mid way through last season, so she decided to transfer. Andi Shelton graduated from Pacific in May. She decided to go to Grad School at a new school. She too was a local girl so she wanted to experience a new place.

It sounds like someone gave you the official line...  (I heard a very different version...much more coach-related for all 4 players.)
And, if you check the stats, Wine was still starting at the end of last season.

I'm thinking her height holds her back from getting looks at a starting OH position from bigger schools, perhaps.  I think she's about 5'9"?  (I may be misremembering.)

I'm just confused that she went all the way to North Dakota. Several smaller east coast schools could have used her. She is a really good all around player.

Brinke is done with her career - had injury history thru-out her career, so no surprise if she'd forego a last year of elgibility anywhere

Despite the loss of Adamcikova, the Beach should be solid on the left side.

I don't think Kashauna Williams is a freshman.  Interesting history, in this article about her history:

Seems her departure coincided with a highly publicized transfer into the program.  Can someone say scholarship numbers?

Is Spriggs even a graduate? I thought she’s a senior.
