I loved watching Frost play the option back in the day. I'm not sure he's the answer. Actually, I don't have the answer either. I'm calling it: Scott Frost coaches for 4 years and then, he'll be fired or asked to resign. This did age well.

This thread did not age well. Hiring Frost at Nebraska seemed like a good idea at the time, but yeah, it has obviously not worked out at all. One thing I've heard on Reddit from Nebraska fans is that Frost doesn't even have a special teams coach and doesn't prioritize that area of the game. That's just coaching malpractice. Edit: I found the thread where I learned this. Apparently, Nebraska also doesn't put their specialists (punter, kicker, long snapper) on scholarship. Malpractice.

I’m glad to hear it. I am so sick and tired of instant gratification fans who expect a program to be turned around in a matter of a few years. It was at the bottom of the basement when he took over and the program could hang with the best of teams this season. They just need to clean it up.

The only thing more overrated than Scott Frost is Pat Forde!

The real problem is that the Nebraska AD didn't sit down with Wolfgang to get his view. The AD would have learned that coaches only have four years to turn around a program and this is cut and dried. You don't get five years and you don't restructure a contract when the evidence indicates to the contrary. Look at Frost's record (both all games and conference): 2018: 4-8 / 3-6 2019: 5-7 / 3-6 2020: 3-5 / 3-5 2021: 3-7 / 1-6 This record screams inadequate, fire me, and move on.

What's crazier than thinking about football having 85 (EIGHTY-FIVE) scholarships, is that they used to have more.

I saw in this short film that punters appear out of nowhere:

Hmm, I see that they used to have 95, but that was reduced in 1991 to the current total of 85. I don't know if it's really that surprising that football has so many. It's a sport that has a lot of positions and a lot of injuries, and of course, it generates by far the most revenue of any sport.

Some legit reasons why Frost should stay at Nebraska by ex player Adam Carriker. We looked so much better and actually held our own against Ohio State last weekend. The stats Adam mentions are just astounding, very odd that we aren't doing better. I agree with Adam that we are one tweak away from those losses being wins. GO BIG RED !

The basketball team taking cues from Frost in hyping up close losses, after Nebrasketball lost by one point to ... *checks notes* ... Western Illinois.
