Spent the weekend at the beach in Hermosa and heard that Olivia Zelon is confirmed to be transferring out of UT. Should be interesting to see where she goes and why she left Texas. Will Lexi will be joining her..................................but where? stop trolling |

Last night on another Texas volleyball site a poster asked what fans thought about the starting lineup for the next season. The post seems to have been removed. Curiously on Texas sports site the roster Pages are not working. Last year I had reported that the roster page for the 2016 team was not there. Could it be that maintenance is finally being done on those pages?
Then regarding the previous thoughts about Orie Agbaji, I began to wonder if and when she did her VPI testing.

Well, that explains it to me. Again I might add that maybe Olivia was a better libero than Catherine. Thanks Mr. Davis for the report. |

That's rare for them to update so quickly and accurately. They usually lag behind until mid-Spring semester when they go, "Oh crap, we still have old players on the roster!" |

So, they have Lexi and Ashley listed as sophomores. Their bios have also been updated to include their freshman season accolades. Isn't it great?
Micaya is listed as a junior, and Brionne as a freshman, since they each redshirted one season.
But, Riley and Blaire are each listed as juniors (their true classification as they would be heading toward their third year as student-athletes at Texas); but, Riley didn't play in 2016 and Blaire didn't play in 2017 (recovery from knee injury). Guessing they won't be staying all 5 years.
Can't believe Morgan and Yaazie are both going to be seniors next season.

There was that survey UT's Volleyball Wants to Hear From You! I got a phone call from a rep in the ticket office and spent time answering various questions as I could hear her keyboard clacking away in the background. Of course, I'd already answered the short online survey as well a few weeks earlier. I said I wanted a bigger Gregory, but still "a Gregory"....know-what-I-mean? She said yes that they've had some discussions about that internally on how to increase fan space, but not lose what makes Gregory intimidating to other teams. |
