What seed does everyone think Nebraska will get? Or, what seed do you want Nebraska to get, with in reason? The same as every other team not ranked in top 4. Just not Stanford's bracket.

What seed does everyone think Nebraska will get? Or, what seed do you want Nebraska to get, with in reason? Put us in any Region but Stanford Ditto! I like the BYU Regional -> just to play somebody new (different). And hopefully my prediction of the last few years will come true, and we will see a Stanford/Nebraska matchup in the Final.

What seed does everyone think Nebraska will get? Or, what seed do you want Nebraska to get, with in reason? If they win out; 5 or 6. if Minn or Illinois loose, Nebraska chances more of a 5 seed. I'm hoping for a 5 seed for them. Teams I would NOT want in my bracket if I'm a top 4 seed. (BYU, Stanford, Minn, ILL) Wisconsin Nebraska Texas Penn State all (4) teams could knock any of these top four seeds OUT (on a good night). I expect Penn State, and NEB to be in true tourney form in a few weeks. WIS would be brutal to meet, and TEXAS is always too athletic to count out.

Interested to hear how you think we'd jump to the 5. That's where Texas was in the top 10 reveal right? Although, that reveal is essentially useless...

What seed does everyone think Nebraska will get? Or, what seed do you want Nebraska to get, with in reason? I think Nebraska will be the 6 or 7 seed, before today I thought they’d be 8 (USC ruined that tho). Depending on the Wisconsin and Penn State game next week, I think Nebraska can move up to 6. Buuuuut, low chance Nebraska is the 5 seed in my opinion

People I'm in circles with are projecting Nebraska will be seeded at Stanford. Likely an 8 or 9? You all think this is accurate?
I see us a 6. And with the 3rd seed.

But it's hard to say what the committee will do. If you want to believe their reveal we'd have to jump 3 teams to get to 6. Since that reveal we haven't lost and have beaten penn state, Michigan on road, and purdue on road. Psu has lost to us and Illinois but have games against Wis and Min left. Wis has lost to Michigan and not sure if their 2nd game with Minnesota was before or after that reveal. And then USC lost to Arizona state tonight and if our loss to UNI last year was that damaging to us then their loss to ASU should knock them way down.

I think we need to be realistic. Substandard play by Sweet will hold us back in the tournament. We are short one scorer with Sweet not scoring.

I think we need to be realistic. Substandard play by Sweet will hold us back in the tournament. We are short one scorer with Sweet not scoring. Can’t predict what’s going to happen in the tournament. We have a high ceiling. We lost *close* matches in which Sweet and Sun hit for bad percentages. If even one of them can pick those numbers up we will look very formidable. If both of them do, watch out. Our defense is one of the best in the country both at the net and in the backrow and our serving is killer yet again. Maloney, Foecke and Stiv are all studs. Keep the faith!

It would be tough to go to Stanford, I'd take any regional other than theres.

Taking a look at Foecke & Maloney's regular season records, notable wins/losses and where they ended up in the tournament. I wish there was a trend, but the committee can be a little inconsistent (as we're all aware of). It will be interesting to see where the Huskers end up. The past three Final Four Huskers teams all claimed losses outside of the Top 10 -- what do you do with this 2018 squad?
2015 Overall: 32-4 B1G: 17-3 Notable wins: @ #1 Penn State, vs #5 Penn State Notable losses: @ #13 Ohio State, vs #16 Wisconsin Tournament Seed: #4 Outcome: National Champions
2016 Overall: 31-3 B1G: 18-2 Notable wins: vs #2 Texas, vs #4 Wisconsin, vs #3 Minnesota Notable losses: vs #19 Ohio State, @ #2 Minnesota Tournament Seed: #1 Outcome: National Semifinals
2017 Overall: 32-4 B1G: 19-1 Notable wins: @ #2 Penn State, vs #3 Minnesota, vs #7 Wisconsin, @ #10 Michigan State, Notable losses: vs #18 Oregon, @ #12 Florida, vs Northern Iowa, @ #11 Wisconsin Tournament Seed: #5 Outcome: National Champions
2018 (as of 11/19) Overall: 22-6 B1G: 13-5 Notable wins: @ #7 Illinois, vs #7 Penn State Notable losses: all six losses to teams in the Top 10 Tournament Seed: ? Outcome: ?

Looks like USC fell to 15th. We do have one loss to a team now outside the top 10 in Florida, though they were #7 at the time... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just my 'two cents' about how "whacked out" these standings are: Look at the positions of AZ State & MICH State compared to each other, and the out-of-conf. opponents each lost too, and then tell me they don't need to fix this system, and then add in the fact that USC lost to an 86th ranked team in ASU and drop one spot (is that right?)?
