I think the AVCA rankings would be way better seeds than the rpi.

RPI is what it is—wins/losses, opponents wins/losses, opponents opponents wins/losses
It’s not great, but we have to deal with it

I see Nebraska as the #6 seed with Minnesota at #3. I know the Huskers would have work to do prior, but I actually wouldn’t mind taking on Minnesota again. They’re really good, but the Big Red has made some changes since. And it’s not like those games weren’t close. Being in Minneapolis for it wouldn’t bother me either. I just think it’d be fun. Nothing to lose in a match-up like that. All pressure would be on the Gophers, with senior been here done this Foecke on the other side. I like the chances...

I think we need to be realistic. Substandard play by Sweet will hold us back in the tournament. We are short one scorer with Sweet not scoring. Perhaps you did not see Sweet's play in last years Final Four. Perhaps you did not see that her statistics are gradually improving over the last few matches. Perhaps you were not aware that she was playing next to an outstanding middle attacker last year who could be set from 12' off the net, which held the opponent's middle blocker from releasing on Sweet. Perhaps you didn't know Sweet is avergin more kills per set this year than last year. Or perhaps I should just say I find your post inappropritate and "substandard."

Sweet’s play last year has nothing to do with this year. Perhaps YOU are not aware. Perhaps YOU don’t know we have middles more than capable THIS year. Perhaps YOU are not aware of that. Perhaps YOU don’t know Sweet is very error prone in her hitting THIS year. Perhaps I should just say your reply to me laughable. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings Mrs. Sweet.

That makes sense from a financial viewpoint. A boat load of Nebraska fans driving to Minny filling up hotels ... beautiful.

Stanford is almost undoubtedly #1 now with BYU loss so avoid 8/9

Stanford is almost undoubtedly #1 now with BYU loss so avoid 8/9 I don’t think 8/9 is a concern. I think they’ll be around 6. I think Wisconsin will be 7 because I’m predicting PSU takes them out this weekend. Otherwise Huskers may be 7. Regardless, I’m fine with Champaigne or Minneapolis.

Personally I don't know if Nebraska gets up to 6. I think they can get to 7 maybe....will just have to wait to see how games go this weekend However it also seems like some years the committee has their minds made up before all games are played.

She has been atrocious in the past couple months or so. Not the only reason mind you, but the largest reason for our terrible month of October. There ain’t gonna be any “biggest stage” if she doesn’t get it into gear very, very soon.

BYU swept and loses
Does this help or hurt Nebraska?
