Check that,...make it Tiadora Miric, S, soph-to-be,...too. Yes,...I did. Don't know the details, but, coach Rogers is young and a competitor. Standing up for his players best way to describe the incident. Rogie is 44 and knows better. Miric playing indoor is unlikely.

lol, making obscene gestures towards your opponent is 'standing up for his players'
guess we are going to see that to be added shortly to the 'Mustang Way' creed then
GOTTA "REPRESENT"

Hey, it probably beats throwing a chair (hard to do on sand) or taking off your sandal and beating on a table.
So,...what was the alleged obscene gesture in question and why???

Going to make a somewhat wild prediction about CAL POLY's starting line-up for 2018.
It comes in the form of the setter position.
I am predicting coach Crosson will move Kathrine Brouker from being a fixture at libero to setter and start Mika Dickson, junior, as libero.
Reason is having an experienced senior playing a key (the quarterback) position.

The better question is who are the current and incoming setters, what are there strengths and how can they best be utilized (5-1, 6-2) to maximize the production of the Van Windens and Stivers and the MBs.

Cal Poly's libero isn't going to be moved to setter. That's silly talk, and just wouldn't be a smart move for many reasons.

Cal Poly's libero isn't going to be moved to setter. That's silly talk, and just wouldn't be a smart move for many reasons. CAL POLY will enter the season with two designated setters,...a true freshman and a sophomore-to-be who has only played in six sets as a freshman. Certainly, not a ton of experience at this key position.

Certainly, not a ton of experience at this key position. Certainly not a lot of experience. But short of pulling in a transfer setter from another school, those are the setters Cal Poly will have. Just have to trust the coaches to work with the setters to get them where they need to be to run the offense at a good enough level to compete and win. Moving their starting Libero to the setting spot would weaken the team overall. You would be putting a new libero into the lineup, creating a liability with the libero now setter in the front row, and the offense would not run as well due to the most likely (not saying she can't set) inconsistent location sets required to run the fast offense that Cal Poly does. Three problems on the surface created by the switch. Using one of the current setters on the team, that they were recruited for, keeps stability and consistency at the other positions to help in the transition.

Coach Crosson will be going into practice with an open mind. Quite sure moving Brouker out of position is not his desire. So, it will be a battle between the two setters on the 2018 CAL POLY Roster.
