When will the draft start? I have a lot of research to do before that. Luckily, I still have all my All-America predictions spreadsheets from last season, but still.

I'd like to make a clarifying point/opinion. Re the scoring system on question 1, option 3 really is NOT a hybrid of the two, it's a tie beaker procedure. I'm indifferent if people want to keep the current scoring system, but I just want to point out that voting for #3 IS keeping the current scoring system, which is that it's winner take all each week. The whole point of the points scoring was to keep the losers of the closer contests in the heat of standings with the ability to possibly still win come week 13 (keeping people as engaged as possible). Voting for option #3 is NOT changing how we score week to week to determine standings, and it only actually matters at the very end to determine the final standings. I just want to make sure everyone is aware of that. In fact, given that question 3 has already past the vote, which is that head to head is the first tie breaker no matter the system, choosing option #3 "hybrid" means even less! The only way it would come into play is if after all the season is over, someone is tied in the overall standings using the old scoring model (accumulated head to head results), and THOSE two posters tied each other during their matchup..... or maybe I'm reading this wrong. all I know is that we should be clear what we are voting on when it comes to scoring......... I agree with this. I would prefer the points system, with either a record (W/L) tiebreaker or a H2H tiebreaker. I just realized we don't really have that option: a points system with a W/L tiebreaker. Hybrid #4?

If #3 is voted "NO," what is the tiebreaker? All I'm saying is an alternative would be use points as primary ranking, W/L as tiebreaker.

Edited one of my answers.
I wasn't sure what to go with for question 3, because if you vote no, then what is the alternative?

I think Friday is a fair start date. It is exactly 4 Friday's before the season begins. As long as we make about 6 picks per day, we would finish on time.

I’d also recommend putting in a long time limit even from the start. In the past couple of years, we ran into issues with people waiting days. Maybe 18 or 24 hours? I don’t think it’s too much to say that if you don’t check in every 18 hours, you’ll get skipped...

Looks like no super week, no bonus, and no freshmen requirement. Looks like we are going to the Points system.
