Aw no bonus points for the point scoring!? Oh well... I thought it would have been a fun way to not only have your head to head but also have a group competition each week for those extra 5 points.

I think Friday is a fair start date. It is exactly 4 Friday's before the season begins. As long as we make about 6 picks per day, we would finish on time. I’d also recommend putting in a long time limit even from the start. In the past couple of years, we ran into issues with people waiting days. Maybe 18 or 24 hours? I don’t think it’s too much to say that if you don’t check in every 18 hours, you’ll get skipped... I like the 24 hour limit. |

Draft will start Friday, July 27th, at 10:00am EST. Heisenberg has the first pick, followed by n00b , and then me. We will be begin with an 18-hour time limit. You can send your pick in via private message to any of the 3 League Organizers (me, ay, Buckys) if you are afraid you might not make the time cut and you know your pick is coming up. Just a note of drafting etiquette, please do the following 1 - Double check sure your player is eligible. (re: Conferences). 2 - When you pick your player, list them as shown below in the following examples: Kirsten Mead - S - Santa Clara Lexi Elman - OH - Pacific Alexandra Poletto - MB - Colorado State
Natalie Haben - L - Purdue ***FRESHMAN*** 3 - Tag the following person in the draft order that it is their turn. Keep in mind that the draft runs in both directions. |

75/114 (72%) of the head-to-head matches in last year's league were decided by a 3-2 score or were tied. That seems like a lot.
I really think further consideration of the scoring method, beyond just a vote, is necessary! You come out on the wrong side of a few of those match-ups and your season could be over, right?

I didn't participate, but I understand that a lot of participants were basically "throwing" a couple of the categories and not really competing on them, while stacking enough categories tot ry and target 3 category wins, and the match. A points-based system would benefit people who had more balanced active rosters.
