Kalei Greeley to Chaminade for grad school? Will she play their too? She has already been in grad school since she graduated from UH and she does not have anymore indoor eligibility leftover. I see, I thought the reason why she chose Chaminade was because of scholarship. She could have stayed at UH.

Kalei Greeley must really love living in Hawaii. I bet especially Mags is coming back.

was it Croson’s last year as a Wahine? It's been a while since Hawaii's had a top 10 recruit. I'm surprised that Iosia wasn't one. Iosia won the Andi Collins award for best senior HS setter. I like how Robyn & Co are going international to find good talent. One poster mentioned an international terminator hitter for 2020. so far gray and oleksak have lived up to the hype. maybe next year iosia gets a shot at one of the AA teams.

Battling Stanford is a waste of time. UH will lose 100% of the time when a player is to choose between the two schools. She will get in somehow. The school always find ways to get them in.
If Stanford don’t get her, I bet she would end up at UCLA, Cal or UW. I just get the feeling UH is too “small time” for her.
Move on and find someone who wants to be here.

Hawaii needs to focus on girls they can get from Hawaii. I'll say it again, Robyn and Co. need to keep an eye on Toodie Sopi. This girl WANTS to play for Hawaii but she already getting looks from some schools on the mainland already. She will only get better but as a Frosh she has plenty room to grow and I'm excited to watch it happen.

Toodie Sopi is a freshman this year. Still has a lot to learn as she is a converted middle turned outside. She has a tenacity in her that is fun to watch. She would be a nice get even if only playing front row.
In fact that is an option Hawai’i should explore. Ditch the 6 rotation outside and find an athletic terminating outside and DS her in the back row.

She stood out from the other players in a game vs Radford, but she didn't seem particularly talented. Who knows? She could develop after freshman year, but she's being overhyped at this point. She is NOT Kanani Danielson. Robyn & Co will scour beyond the islands to find the best talent possible, which is the right idea. Hawaii can only produce so much talent and there's so much more talent elsewhere who wouldn't mind going to paradise for school. I also think Angelica's Euro connections will bring in high caliber recruits, her hire might be Robyn's wisest early decision.

One thing BYU is proving, a team does not need to have tall OH/OPP hitters to go far into the NCAA Tournament. BYU's OH/OPP hitters are 5'10, 6'0, and 5'10, not tall at all by NCAA standards. In fact, you could say they are quite short for players in those positions. So, if a player is good enough, it really does not matter what her height is. BYU is proving that out.
