Why the heck would you declare to be at UVA.....pretty much last in the ACC with Wake....guess their HC is trying to get some good recruits together. Good luck to them. Maybe because she likes the SCHOOL. You know, the reason they are going there. Crazy thought, I know. I wasn't following Borum, but if it came down to UVa vs RED, then perhaps if was a combination of academics, playing immediately, and aesthetics.

Virginia recruiting per Senior Acees was really good 10 years ago. It has still been decent in recent years. Just hasn't been as good converting to on the court success.

For those that don’t know, UVA is a great academic institution.

Gonna have a ton of Nebraska in the top 50 release tomorrow. Heck, the gal in the header picture is Lindsay Krause.
A couple of "uncommitted" folks will be in there, just because they have yet to commit to Stanford.

I suppose only a few liberos make the top 50 juniors or aces, but she's a really good one.

But so did the Kansas Libero and I wonder how much playing up the last couple of years plays into that.

Not only that, but she only made high honorable mention in the Class of 2021 Sophomore 79 that was released back in March.

Looks like Nebraska will have clearly the #1 class in 2021. Florida, Kentucky, Creighton, and BYU will be around top 5? Not sure where Stanford lies in this. Other potential T10 recruiting classes are Penn State, Purdue, Ohio State, USC, and Oregon. Baylor looks to have a good class with a lot of depth. Some teams with a good class not counting the usual suspects: Oklahoma, Colorado, and San Diego.
What is going on with Illinois? Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan, and Michigan State are consistently out recruiting Illinois. Kentucky and BYU have pretty much locked down their status as top level programs outside the B1G and PAC, joining Texas and Florida.

Agree with your assessments of other schools...Baylor and Oklahoma doing well in Big 12. Surprise and possibly due to the numbers game but no Texas and they definitely missed out on some of these girls who decided to go elsewhere. Stanford will of course be up there if what most is thinking will happen soon.
