Prediction on the senior ace top 10 (no order) over a year in advance. I'm confident at least eight will be correct...if anyone likes long term wagers. If you give me odds, I'll bet I go 10/10.

No value judgement, since I don't follow this age super closely. I'm just curious because it seems like her sister has slipped some and it is intriguing to think that she could end up as high or higher than her sister when she committed 2 grades later with way less fanfare. I think the reason Mel gets criticized is because she's a setter. Mabrey doesn't have that issue. It's clear that she's a pin and she's really good. Plus, she has the best serve in her age group which is a nice bonus. As to your question, honestly, she was the last one I added. I had others that I considered like Paris Thompson, Shaye Eggleston, et al., all of whom would have made sense. |

Is Shaffmaster really that high? No value judgement, since I don't follow this age super closely. So I think that served Mel well early on as she was coming up. I haven’t seen her hit so it will be interesting to see how that develops. |

This class might be the highest ranked ever in the state between the players at A5 and A5 South. |

Boney is very good and very talented but simply a different player from Gneiting. Different kind of athlete, different motor. |

I also thought Paris Thompson looks pretty standout for this class. some footage of her as a frosh.... I haven't watched any of her this year. |

If she continues to improve her vertical, I see long term potential at the net as well with that fast arm swing. The soundtrack was a distraction to watch the entire video, but it motivated me to get up off the couch and go cut my lawn! :-) |
