Their primary goal was to give as many of the 64 selected teams as possible something to complain about regarding their seeding or where they will be paying!
;D

That they did. In some cases, it looks like they had a clue. In other cases, they just pulled names from a hat.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that Minnesota has probably the least of anything to complain about. Yeah, they got moved out of Minneapolis for rounds 1 and 2, but then again, they can play their ball girls in those matches and still win.
Or would you prefer to be playing at home and have the winner of UCSB and Wichita State?

I admit, I don't get that one. UCSB doesn't play Wichita State in the NCAA's.

Last year, Minnesota was matched up against the winner of the UCSB/MVC champion in round 2. So I want to know, would Gopher fans prefer the winner of UCSB vs the MVC champion at home, or the winner of Albany/Yale on the road?

Yeah, this year's brackets seemed kinda wacky in many ways, especially the FAMU's sub-regional bracket! WTF is that all about? And I agree that Hawaii as no. 3 seed gets screwed in not even hosting 1st/2nd rounds. And of course, there are lots of love being showered on last year's cinderalla team!
Well, many posters showered brickbats at Lisa Love in past 2-3 years but her committee did seem to be more fair than this year's committee.

There were some shockers in the seatings, but for the most part I'm happy with it.

Does the Lyon Center now officially seat more than 2000?

There were some shockers in the seatings, but for the most part I'm happy with it. As a Purdue fan, I say that of all the potential AVCA top ten teams we could face in the first round, CSU would probably be my top choice. They are a lot better option than someone like San Diego or St Marys or Texas. Or even non top ten teams like Florida or Tennessee. (oh wait, Tennessee is in the top ten now, right?)

I would think that they would host in Lyon Center, like they did last year. All they have to do is add bleachers at both ends (or just at far end of the court), and voila!, the seating capacity goes up.

Plus with all those extra $$$ coming in from football (average home attendance of 84,000 per game), the athletic department can afford to thorw a couple of thousands to the NCAA.

Lyon Center is one of worst places to play. Hope they find another site. Loud, small and handicapped people have a really hard time getting in there. The crowd is not very helpful or friendly. Just my perspective.
