Okay, we all have our complaints so lets organize them into one thread so we can assess them. How can Stanford get put where they are? If the committee is looking at the last half of their season, shouldn't they get put much higher? I wonder if they would have hosted, if they would have gotten different matchups? How does Hawaii get sent to play Colorado State there? And how does Hawaii not get the #1 seed if they ended the season as the #1 team in the nation (is that too hard to grasp?) Granted, nothing is going to change about the bracket and the teams will play against those who they are matched up with, but couldn't the committee have done a better job?

I got a better idea: instead of wasting time bi-tching about what the committee did, lets move on and talk about the hand that has been dealt. Where is it interesting, where is it not? What are good potential matchups? Where are the potential upsets?

Nah, the announcement isn't even an hour old...I still need to beotch (and get it out of my system so I can function - productively - at work tomorrow)...how in the world do you make Washington (the outright Pac-10 Champion) a 7 seed!?!

Ummm, read the title of the thread... if you wanna talk about the potential matchups start a new thread . Hawaii got screwed big time.. Also Minn has the easy road to the final four. Neb. will have to battle it out with USC... Florida will likely not make it out of the 2nd round and I could see Colo St. upsetting Hawaii. Overall a bad job by the seeding comittee...

I actually like where Stanford is seeded, other than the fact that there's a bitchin' hard second round match against Florida.

No complaints from the Huskers. I think they got everything they could have wanted and earned everything they got.

How does the number 3 seed get sent on the road to play the 9th ranked team in the country on their home floor in the second round? (provided they win the first match)
Did anybody see Minnesota's and Penn State's sub regionals? what a joke!!

Because the committee knows darn well that CSU's #9 AVCA ranking is a total joke, and has nothing to do with how good they really are.

Like in all sports it’s about the match ups, regardless of the rankings some teams will be a menace in certain situations! USC still has half of their starting lineup from the last two championships........does Nebraska match up well with them!? Isn't Hawaii the ONLY team of the 8 seeds that won’t have a game at home!? Minnesota does once they reach their regional.

BiK – What is this “screw em”? You have a sexual fantasy on the selection committee? ;D ;D ;D Ha Ha -- do not worry the Bows will beat CSU, that is not a problem.

Don't leave out UCLA and Missouri being seeded as well. How the hell do those two get seeded? That's just ridiculous. Absolutely atrocious.
