I'm really bad at guessing genders. I always thought vballfreak808 was a guy. LOL! Also, unless relations are really really bad, players won't put their names in the portal until January. Otherwise, they risk losing their scholarship for the coming term(s). 25 new names in the last 48 hours. |

Novice question but does anyone have any insight into how many of the transfers are permitted to play immediately? Seems fairly common but not quite sure of the waivers situation... Does their former coach handle that? 99%+ unless they are staying in the same conference. Then maybe 35%. |

Graduate transfers can transfer, and play, immediately. The one problem with that is that most graduate programs only allow fall entrances. This may be generally true and I realize you said "most." Many many programs take students in the "off" terms if they want that student badly enough. Sometimes, it's not the student they want badly but they suddenly have an opening or a free scholarship that they need to give out that year (or they "lose" it) so if ask the program chair, you could be a lucky recipient. |
