This made me laugh...in case you did not read Punzel's WSJ story about the UW/MSU match Saturday.
Sheffield is usually so, "...uh, you know...uhhhh...I uh...you know..." inarticulate. His quote about pulling Rettke from the match for a bit, in that context, is hilarious: "Don't hit into the block."

Was interesting listening to his comments about Molly's injury. Said it was an easy decision to sit her for a year. You don't mess with certain body parts, especially for young players early in their careers, so it was an easy call. But now she is playing much better than in her freshman year almost all aspects of her game.
Molly is back, plus.

I am headed to Wisconsin this week to do interviews and watch the match with Iowa. Excited to make this trip and see the Badgers in person. My first time there for volleyball, too. Not staying for Sunday’s match vs Nebraska? |

For cajun, New Orleans Takeout is literally across the street from the Field House. For a good breakfast, Marigold Kitchen off the square on S. Pinkney. For burgers, maybe Dottie's on Francis ST. Italian, maybe Porta Bella, Francis ST. Cocktails, try Merchant. Mediterranean Cafe is a good lunch spot. The Field House has brats too, and can cut one up atop mac & cheese if you don't have time for real food outside. The Malt House at Union Corners on Milwaukee street has a nice beer selection, but it's a ways from the UW campus and the Field House. The previously recommended cheese curds & beer at Great Dane wouldn't be a bad choice.

Brasserie V has the best beer selection near the Field House. Otherwise, I would suggest one of the Barleypop locations. Working Draft is the best full line brewery, but Rockhound isn't too far from the Field House and is good. Sweet Home Wisconsin has the best curds I have had in the general area of the Field House. I would second the recommendation for New Orleans Take Out.
