A lot rides on how we finish conference play. I'll feel a lot better about statements like this if we beat PSU (and Rutgers, of course). I find your lack of faith disturbing

Deahna Kraft appears to be the well-rounded player.

Excuse me for butting in on the Badger party, but I’m 100% behind y’all winning the conference outright! I admire individual players at Penn State a lot because I like good volleyball, but I will always root for Wisconsin over them. It’s the Badger blood in me. I’ve really enjoyed watching Wisconsin play this year. Signed, A related burrowing mammal who feels a bit sappy tonight <3

Here are some highlights of Kraft from earlier this year. I'll try to find more this weekend. And of course I'll be following and cheering for the Waves this spring!

In addition to leading the B1G in assists/S, Sydney accounts for a higher percentage of her teams assists (89%) than any setter in the B1G. Take from that what you will. We're in system more than other teams and she puts up a good ball.

... Signed, A related burrowing mammal who feels a bit sappy tonight <3 Hey, if Minnesota wants to beat Penn State on Saturday we're all for that, too. Visiting Minnesota/Wisconsin in the B1G is what I like to call the road trip of death :-)

That would be much appreciated.

I'd rather go for a 3 set victory by the Badgers. Less stress. But we can get them out of system that's more running around for that side of the net.

Monday's with Mick Some Wisconsin talk. I disagree with Mick on Minnesota not being able to win tournament. I don't think he realizes that Miller is back running a 5-1 now. Minnesota could get hot, and win the darn thing. volleyballmag.com/mondays-with-mick-112519/

He may not know Miller is back, but I don’t disagree with him regarding Minnesota not being a team that can win it all.

Bucky's 5th Quarter is killing it with their updates. Yesterday's article, B5Q Blogopean Union: the volleyball team swept Nebraska right into a trash can, starts out with a chuckle and keeps going: Much like the European Union, the Big Ten is a loosely confederated group of entities that sometimes have the same goals (like free movement of people between countries or not winning national titles in football or basketball) and sometimes accept new members that they later regret (Estonia or Rutgers). There's even a football-related gem at the end of the article. Enjoy!
