... I was there in 2000 when Sherisa Livingston got the final block against UCLA in the 5th set of the Elite Eight match. Regardless of volume, it's still the most emotional moment I've seen from a WI team. Sherisa and Erin sinking to their knees in disbelief and the whole team piling on - amazing.

It’s was a civil war battle field at the end.

^I'm just going to leave my eyeplugs.
Although I have sat through some matches, especially 2008-12, where eyeplugs would have improved the experience.
Sweet sixteen against OSU when Haleigh Nelson fell to her knees (in an afternoon game too) was the most amazing, physical game I remember.

Loudest in the Field House, however? I was there in 2000 when Sherisa Livingston got the final block against UCLA in the 5th set of the Elite Eight match. THAT was loud...like burn-down-the-Field-House loud. (That was actually painfully loud.) Amazing the Badgers won that match when they weren't even getting touches on Porter until late in the match. Byrd wasn't much of an offensive threat that year, but she had a huge kill when the Bruins had rallied to tie it at 12 in the fifth. I only listened to this on the radio/internet, if I remember right, and it was incredibly dramatic. I hung on every point. Got NO work done that day. The K State match just prior was also tough. Look at the attendance numbers for that year. Not sure if they count them differently these days, and I remember some simply huge attendances, but it's amazing what a long way badger vball has come in terms of sustained interest. uwbadgers.com/documents/2015/8/21/4042.pdf

It's unfortunate that's a shot from the UW-UW match.

Dennis's article on Deahna Kraft is up! To answer your question, badgerbreath, Kraft will be working towards a masters in educational leadership and policy analysis.

They've used this picture a few times and I love it because it looks like Tiffany Clark is trying to destroy this volleyball using only the power of her mind.

There is a connect with Kraft:
Although she grew up in Seattle, Kraft has strong ties to Wisconsin. Her mother grew up with six brothers on a dairy farm near Sturgeon Bay and each summer Deahna would spend a week or two on the farm. While she is eager to perform in front of that large contingent of aunts, uncles and cousins, Kraft has some unfinished business to take care of first at Pepperdine.

Going into 2020 with actual, healthy, depth at the pins is a nice change of pace from this year
