Now I know Orr didn’t sign with Nebraska only for her to sit out two and a half seasons…c’mon Far too many moving parts and personalities are involved to be sure about anything. I have my suspicions like anyone else, but suspicions are all they are. That is why I laid out the situation the way I know it, and nothing more. When does the other setter Reilly (sp?) come in? |

Says a Texas fan that’s trying to add yet another elite middle to the program? How many top recruits at Texas ride the pine for most of their careers? Since Texas is living rent-free in your mind, why don't you tell me which top recruits are currently riding the pine? Notice I haven't said ANYTHING about Mendelson. At this point, it's pretty clear that if she were to come to Texas, she would play basketball. Reading the threads would probably help before you open your mouth. You have no idea whether or not she's going to play basketball and/or volleyball. If she was just going to play basketball only, she could be picked up by a lot better programs than Texas. Which top recruits are currently on the bench? Is Madison Williams (top 10 overall recruit) on the floor? Did Elliot not transfer in STK when he had the #1 setter in the 2020 class already on the roster? Does Texas not also have Singletary, Bunton and Byrd all lined up to play position that can only have two in the starting line up?..oh wait, one may move to the RS right? except for the fact that Devin K. and Tomkinson are there. Perhaps YOU should look at your own program before opening YOUR mouth about people not reading. |

Madison willams was ranked 77 not a top 10 devin is more of a outside hitter Bryd is more of a pin hitter then a middle blocker and Naomi has less experience so that’s why that got saige just a little fyi |

Jerritt already stated he had those conversations with all recruits and they know exactly what they are getting into and they still decided to commitso that just speaks volumes of where Texas is at and how much recruits want to be apart of such a great program. It doesn't matter if top recruits are sitting the bench. If they are getting outplayed by someone else on the roster who also earned the right to there then so be it. Rankings go out the window once you get to college. |

I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of eotexas5 claiming that Orr didn't commit to Nebraska to ride the bench for 2 years when Texas is notorious for having a bench full of elite recruits. It's obvious that these athletes choose this and that's 100% fine! but it's just rich that a Texas fan is trying to throw shade at Nebraska for having elite players riding the bench. |

Madison willams was ranked 77 not a top 10 devin is more of a outside hitter Bryd is more of a pin hitter then a middle blocker and Naomi has less experience so that’s why that got saige just a little fyi ummmmm..... if you say so Williams is the team leader in kills (390) and digs (380) for a Lake Ridge team that is 36-6 and ranked No. 77 in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com. Lake Ridge is one match behind District 7-6A co-leaders Mansfield and Waxahachie with four district matches remaining and will face Mansfield (ranked No. 9 in the state) on Oct. 25. I KNOW SO |

Girl bye. There are literally zero scholarships open for volleyball for 2022 or 2023 based on the players committed/players staying. She was JUST at a football game mere days ago. There is literally no room for her on the volleyball team, which is why it's more likely that if she were to come to Texas, it would be for a basketball scholarship, which is what I said. You then said "if she wanted to play basketball there are way better programs than Texas.." tf does that have to do with anything? My comment was related to you specifically calling out Cabello as to why she's "riding the pine." She was injured last season, which is why she didn't play. But you're trying to make the case about her "riding the pine." You brought up Madison Williams, which I then addressed (Eggleston and Fields). You think she's better than them? It's clear you have some sort of issue against Texas, which is unsurprising. Take a breath, it'll be alright. |

Yes, although that suggests that they aren't asking MM to reclassify bc of scholarship availability per se. Maybe they want her to reclassify bc they don't want a bunch posts in 23? Or they desparately need a post next season?I agree w your earlier post that it's very unlikely that MM decided to reclassify (esp this late) unless a program asked her to. If most have available scholarships in 2023, why? And why now? If you mean Stanford when you say "they", they have the #1 player in the country, 6'7 Lauren Betts out of Colorado committed for the class of 2022. So, no, they don't "need" another post player for next season. I did not mean Stanford. (Before the post you're replying to), I'd just said that they don't have a BB scholarship for 22 (but they do for 23). Why would Stanford ask her to reclassify to 22? The "they" was an unknown "they". Who (among teams that MM may go to and has visited formally or informally) needs a post in 22 or who might need to her reclassify from 23 to 22 for some other reason? |
