PURDUE just beat CSU 15-12 on a Sauer service error..
Hawaii's road just got a lot easier.. and this proves the Big Ten deserves all the bids they got.

either that or Purdue was an underrated team and CSU an overly rated team. Or perhaps CSU was just off ... who knows

Purdue tends to have problems the second night in a row. Mainly Mel Ukovich. Thus, I wouldn't expect a lot against Hawaii.
But I do just want to say, I think Purdue should take the game ball and shove it straight up Mary Wise's ass.

Hey Pablo, I haven't seen this article with the Mary Wise comments. You have the link. Reading that would be some serious icing on the cake for tonight.

Good for John Shondell and his team.

A great match for Lauren Berg, and all of the back row.
McConaha had 5 kills in the 5th game, I think.
Purdue outblocked CSU 13 - 9.

HOLY CRAP!!!
Talk about an upset ....
I feel bad for Sauer .... this match is going to hurt for a long time for her and CSU.
Purdue looks very good though. Scrappy, defensive team with solid hitters and a very good setter in Dargon. The Wahine will have a handful with that since they've struggled against teams with an offensive setter (Exp. Nevada)

Simply put Mary is Wise, she is the most sincere as well as knowledgeable coach I know. As for Purdue's victory, a congratulations is in order. As for the explanation, why Purdue won; even the sun shines on a dogs ass somedays.

Wow!!! Congrats to the Boilermakers. They're certainly making the most of their invite to the Dance.
CSU just froze up in that 5th game. Purdue's experience gutting out in 5-gamers really showed.
This was a great, high quality match...
CSU arguably had more offensive weapons than Purdue, but couldn't keep up on floor defense and blocking. And so much for homecourt advantage ...
Dargan was everywhere - easily the most impressive player out there tonight. Doesn't look like she's the most athletic out there - but she can flat out play.
Looking forward to seeing 2 great setters quarterback their teams tomorrow.
I wonder if Mary was listening in on this match somewhere ...
