In the photo above, you know that Lauren Li is really thinking about her differential equations problem sets. An idle mind is the devils workshop. Wolfgang as a Caltech alum you know that a idle Caltech mind leads to the DARK TRIAD (Narcissism, Psychopathy and Machiavellianism)

They have all passed Differential Equations nothing compared to P-Chem. My first year at a school near Sand Hill Road (that's my equivalent of "I went to school in Boston"), LOL, I prefer the school right near the welcoming picnic tables of the Alpine Inn..

Big match for Caltech tonight in terms of history for the program. If they beat Redlands it will be the first time in program history that they have won 2 SCIAC match's in a row.

Caltech has lost two matches to Redlands and CMS. Playing La Verne today and I was watching the stream which went totally out of focus just when Caltech was making a nice run at the end of set 2. La Verne leads 2-0 (25-15, 26-24).

La Verne finished the sweep 25-17. Focus came and went, who's messing with the camera?
Somebody for La Verne celebrated their birthday after the match.

I love the fact that the most physically gifted college volleyball players and the most mentally gifted college volleyball players are covered here on Volleytalk.

After a rough couple weeks the Caltech Beavers look to get back on track hosting NAIA opponent St. Katherines Firebirds and ACA member Mills College on Saturday.
Caltech won an earlier match against the Firebirds September 7th 3-0. The Firebird record is 4-18 and Caltech stands at 6-10.
Mills College is 1-11 in an short 18 match schedule.
Mills and St Katherine also play each other at Caltech. All of these teams will doubtlessly be hungry for wins in this non-conference weekend.

Fan's 20-20 Night Powers Volleyball Comeback at Pomona-Pitzer 23 25 20 25 15 25 22 25 22 9 CLAREMONT, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2019) – A career day from sophomore Hannah Fan (Saratoga, Calif. / Saratoga) propelled the Caltech volleyball team to perhaps its biggest win of the year, a come-from-behind triumph at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Tuesday evening. The Beavers, who trailed the Sagehens two sets to one before taking the final two frames have now won three consecutive games for their second string of three wins or more in 2019. "We feel really good about what we accomplished tonight," Head Coach Tom Gardner said. "We hit well, blocked well and played with a lot of heart. There is a lot of trust among our players and they are following our game plans to the tee." Gardner and the Beavers will have a golden opportunity to make it two-in-a-row when they meet Occidental College in the annual Orange Out game on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. www.gocaltech.com/sports/wvball/2019-20/releases/201910165eiatz
