This is just what I was saying in the thread about how to beat Nebraska. They just wear you down to where you give up on your usual stuff and try other things. Those don't work any better and you get frustrated. Then you finally realize it is just not going to happen. I listened to the press conference too (BTW, that's another nice touch by the Huskers, the ability to see and hear the post-match press conference) and think that Chris got a little sidetracked while answering this question. I believe what he meant to say was that his team was used to 'man-handling' people with their physical play and level of skill, but that they got a dose of their own medicine when they played Nebraska tonight, who did the same thing to them. I don't think the Shockers did anything 'out of the ordinary' or tried to do things that weren't 'within themselves'. Instead, they simply got beat by a team who did to them what they've done to others (especially those teams in the MVC) this season. At least that's my take.

Better front row player? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) Try Gordon or Nnamani.......They are freakin awesome....... Chris Lamb On Sarah Pavan I have coached (former Stanford All-American) Kerri Walsh in club, and I coached in the Pac-10. But how do you simulate it, stand on a ladder and hit balls at my players? That young lady has one heck of a career ahead of her. She’s very special and I hope I was a little piece of it.

Wow, WSU was very good but even more impressive was how focused this Husker team is. This was the perfect match for them heading to the regional. WSU attack was so fast but we just hammered them.

Sometimes we just have to agree to disagree and I'm willing to give in on this one. I'll admit you're wrong if you'll admit I'm right. There, that should end all this petty bickering about whose fans are best. OK? ;D
