Timeout Nebraska! ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) (they lead 26-21) Nebraska wins game one 30-22. This is really a good match and was closer than the score might indicate. The Shockers are doing some nice things and have some very good players. In fact, they have a freshman playing (Sara Lungren) who bombs the slide! Anyway, back to the action...

Great game two! Teams are trading sideouts and the Shockers are giving the Huskers all they can handle.
Back-to-back kills by Houghtelling have made it 15-13 Nebraska at the technical timeout.
Wichita State has some impressive middles, Lungren is almost unstoppable on the slide!
Timeout Shockers (Houghtelling with her third straight kill), it's 16-13 Huskers.
Back to the match...

Nebraska is starting to pull away - they're just soooo physical!
Come one Shockers!
Timeout #2 (WSU), 22-16 NE
Too bad that Wichita has to face a team like Nebraska in the second round because they're definitely a Sweet Sixteen caliber (at least) team!
I'd like to see WSU play GT, that would be fun...can't put my finger on why, but I just think it would be a fast match with great athleticism...and that's fun to see (IMHO).

They just said that Younges has been out for most of game two (which I hadn't noticed). She sure would've made a difference when the score was close.
It's currently 24-19 Nebraska.

Nebraska wins game two 30-20.
Their blocking (combined with Houghtelling's play) really gave them the surge they needed when the score was close. Again, this game was much better than the first and altough the score might not indicate it, the Shockers are playing pretty well and I'm impressed with what they do.

Yeah, I thought it was 'fortunate' for her that she chose to 'surface' in Nebraska - faaaar away from where the Wahine Faithful could get to her! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Now I am pissed...screw you coach Cook... here is what he had to say about NU getting a number 1 seed etc.
"From all the top teams we were the only team to go undefeated in conference"...
So I guess he doesn't think Hawaii is a top team... Fu--C-- Yo--- Asswipe...
GOOOOOOO WSU..BEAT NU...

To be fair (and I'm not defending John), he did temper his comments by talking about the Big 12's RPI and how strong it was (said he thought it was the best in the country and I think he's right on that one).
BTW, Nebraska takes their second timeout down 15-9 in the third (I think this is the technical timeout, but the announcer said John called it - we'll see).
Go Shockers!!!

For 1, he mentioned only "undefeated in conference" not necessary meaning Hawaii isn't deserving of a top 4 seed. Also, he might have just forgot or was thinking only of the Huskers as the interview was about his opinion about the Huskers being #1 seed.

In any coach calls a time-out prior the the technical timeout, there's not time out at 15.
