Week 3 roster: S(3): Micah Christenson, Micah Ma’a, Kawika Shoji OPP(2): Ben Patch, Kyle Ensing OH(3): Taylor Sander (C), TJ DeFalco, Garrett Muagututia MB(4): Max Holt, David Smith, Taylor Averill, Mitchell Stahl L(2): Erik Shoji, Larry Tuileta Tuileta in for Dagostino, Averill in for Jendryk Jaeschke is in France but doesn’t show up on roster So odd. I think Aaron Russell is there too (but not positive), so maybe have them practicing with the squad in France instead of with the group in headed to Mexico for Pan-American Cup? Just hope this doesn’t mean a setback with Jaeschke. slowly re-acclimating as with Russell. Its smart imo

Have to imagine both are back playing in Chicago next weekend.

Hopefully Speraw will be able to use Ma'a as a setter only this week - like he wanted to last week. I guess that will depend on how Muagutitia is playing, and how healthy Sander is. Hopefully it's not a repeat of last week.
Jaeschke will be in uniform next week, don't fret.

They are probably practicing with the team but not yet fully ready to play right away.

I hope Jaeschke and Aaron Russel can return asap, DeFalco had a very good week1 and a lousy week2, he has enough quality, but somehow should be more consistent. Muagututia, sorry, prone error. Additionally, Patch, as OPP2, should make an intensive clinic, cannot continue serving so light, and hit with no acccuracy/no crafty. Anderson sometimes will need some rest, his sub must be a reliable guy.

I do like that the main guys are travelling together.

Russell and Jaeschke sitting near the German's for the US/Argentina match. So whoever thought Russell was there, is correct.

I can see us going 3-0 this weekend.
The France / Argentina match tomorrow will be crucial for Argentina to stay within stricking distance if they want to make the other 5 spots.
This hopfully will take a lot out of France too.
Tomorrow would be a great chance for Ma'a and Shoji to get some work in against a weaker German team.

With the full A squad and the new Cuban. Brazil takes in on the chin to a half stacked Serbian team. A Team players have been getting quite a bit of work this VNL for Brazil.
Bad loss for Brazil
