I hope Stahl isn't out for too long with his finger injury.

Hard to know since they have guys traveling with the team and not playing, but looks like Jendryk is back this week. In for Stahl, maybe?? The warm up on the USA Volleyball Insta story today looked like DeFalco, Jendryk, Russell, Jaeschke, Smith, Christenson, Tuileta, Holt, Patch, Sander, Shoji, Averill. I think! Probably missed a few (like Anderson and E Shoji!) 14 plus most all others will be there for these domestic matches. Seems pretty accurate. I'd imagine it's a good time to get the whole team together whether or not they are on the 14man roster for this weeks matches.

We also haven't seen much of Averill

Canada Week 4: S: TJ Sanders, Walsh OPP: Vernon-Evas, Scalter OH: Hoag, Marr, Perrin, DeRocco MB: Vandoorn, Van Berkel, Vigrass, Szwarc L: Blair Bann, Marshall Too little too late for Canada. Can't lose to Serbia and Bulgaria like they did and expect to be a top team

They can go 3-0 this week, with the US being the only team in the way of achieving that. But next week they Brazil, France and Italy.

First appearance of Sanders and he is ok at best compared to top setters in the world.

I'm really really hoping that the Iranian team is treated well here during the finals and have a positive experience.
It seems like the Polish team was really concerned and afraid on their trip to Iran. Things really need to settle down there between the players on those teams.
I think the Iranians did enjoy their trip last year or 2 years ago to Southern California.
What a mess this all could become.

I mean no one can touch the "big 5" but sanders pre-injury had a good case of the being the best outside of that group
