Also, Rollins continues to get zero respect. Because no one cares about all-around players. Not to pile on the with Sun negativity because I like Lexi, but ... Rollins 277 kills .250 2.68 dps Sun 327 kills .195 2.69 dps

Rollins 277 kills .250 2.68 dps Sun 327 kills .195 2.69 dps I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I wonder what basis the coaches use in voting on this. What a player has done in the past? What they're expected to do this season? Or, some combination of those two factors?

POY: Rettke, Samedy, Quade ? SOY: Hilley DOY: White/ Rettke FOY: Kubik I agree with this list for the most part. POY: I think will probably be between Rettke and Quade, with how much they carry their respective teams. Samedy is great too, but she seems to have the best supporting cast that she may not get as high of numbers as Rettke/Quade. SOY: This is likely Hilley's to lose with Hames being a distant second. DOY: This I'd also say is White's to lose, especially if Rettke is selected POY. FOY: Likely Kubik, but if Bruna or one of the PSU OHs have a breakout year, we could see one of them as well. I'd say we'd know more after the first week or two once we see who's starting for each team.

Of course preseason polls/selections are meaningless. It's good for chatter, and I still think it's interesting to know that there are coaches who didn't pick Stivrins and Samedy even if it doesn't matter one bit. Perhaps that is more a function of Cook and Hugh not voting for their own players or something.

The picture with the article features TEXAS. Sure, they are playing Wisconsin in Madison, but c'mon. Also, Rollins continues to get zero respect. Because no one cares about all-around players. +1 (It's bordering on silly to leave Adanna Rollins off this list IMHO)

Sheffield has said haggerty is back to form so to speak so we could see another freshman year molly haggerty. But going in to this season I would say Rollins all around game is 2nd. So pretty big hype for kubik so I guess we will see where that plays out

. Also, Rollins continues to get zero respect. Because no one cares about all-around players. ... Yup! The fact that she is not on there blows my mind 🤯

The fact that she is not on there blows my mind 🤯 Rollins is not flashy in any way and didn’t come with the press Haggerty or Kubik had. So different by comparison. Last year preseason we heard how Molly Haggerty returned to freshman form. Is this the year for her? Wisconsin?

Rollins will be an all American this year. I think that serves her better than some pre season poll.
I think people will be real surprised with Lexi Sun this season. She is a whole new player. I've seen a few practices and the girl is impressive. Just wish she could have brought a few more of that in the title match last year, ug. She hit the gym hard and you can tell.
I thought this list was LOADED with talent. Dang.

If she can start hitting some bics and be a little more efficient attacking, she will be a premier player. She started out great last year and I was betting on her being B1G freshman, but her offensive numbers declined as the year went on

Penn State will finish Top 3 and either Minnesota/Nebraska will not, with Wisconsin winning conference.
I called it.
