LOL, I don't know your "very easy first three". OK, well I do know Fleetwood Mac, but the freakin' name is right there!
"Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon" -- I have heard these names. "Brian Jones, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, Ian Stewart" -- Ian Stewart sounds familiar. "Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook, Doug Clifford" -- I'm going to say this is Creedence, because "Fogerty". I'll assume John played with his brother. "Andy Summers, Stewart Copeland" -- Wow, I do know this one. In fact, you could list Gordon Sumner and it wouldn't be any more of a hint. "Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher, David Belzer, Jeff Johnson" -- nope "Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Richard Wright" -- nada "Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Gregg Rolie, Ross Valory, Aynsley Dunbar, Steve Smith" -- I know a Steve Smith, but I bet it's not this one. "Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, John Densmore" -- Robby Ray Densmore sounds like it could be a name itself. "Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Larry Junstrom, Bob Burns" -- For a second I thought, "I know who Albert Collins is!" But not "Allen Collins". "Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, John McFee, Bill Payne, John Cowan, Marc Russo, Ed Toth" -- That's a big band. I'm going to randomly guess The Grateful Dead. "Benjamin Orr, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes, David Robinson" -- The Admiral was in a band?

"Benjamin Orr, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes, David Robinson" -- The Admiral was in a band? You're right about the "bigness" of that band. I edited my post to clarify that the last four names were touring musicians. But the makeup of a band -- from it founding to its peak to its touring version to its present day "old fogies" version -- is a complex subject.

Of course, as soon as I insert the most famous band members for each entry, it becomes easy peazy.

Of course, as soon as I insert the most famous band members for each entry, it becomes easy peazy. Not necessarily. I just looked up all the names, and yeah, many of them would have been super-easy. But not all of them. Like this one: Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Richard Wright -- if you had listed all the names I still would have gone "who?" (And no, not The Who.)

The lesson to be learned is that it really pays to be the front man for your band. LOL!
I consider "7. Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Richard Wright" to be easy because I'm a fan of this band.
(I was a rock geek (among other things) in high school so I knew 90% of the names in the trivia. Also, I don't put up trivia questions unless I know at least 80% of the answers on my own without looking it up.)

Gordon Sumner (mentioned above) Paul Hewson David Evans Carlos Estévez Malik Shabazz Archibald Leach Allen Konigsberg Declan MacManus Shawn Carter I know Gordon Summer, Carlos Estevez, and Declan MacManus. Never heard of Paul Hewson, David Evans, or Shawn Carter. If they're real names of actors, writers, or musicians, they must be post-1990s because my pop culture education stops there. Malik Shabazz sounds familiar, but not really. Archibald Leach and Allen Konigsberg sound familiar as hell. Can't quite place them.

So, you may be wondering: Why did your pop culture education stop in the 1990s, Wolfgang?
Answer: Started working in 1988. Had kids in 1988, 1990, 1992. Got married in 1989. My entire life was sucked up by those events.

I meant Freddy Mercury, of course. Which was wrong anyhow.
