if lexi is fine, nebraska has a good chance of winning. if she is hurt like last night, then i’d expect a sweep from minnesota

Based on comparison of common opponents, I'm going with Minnesota.

I have to go with Minn here. Minneapolis is a very hard place to win. Gophers often find ways to pull out even tough matches there. The only questions marks are re Rollins and what they do with Miyabe/Samedy. The gophers are a bit in flux it seems to me, but based on the trouble a changed Iowa squad caused the huskers, that may be more of a problem for Nebraska. If the Badgers weren't playing at home, I would be attempted to drive up there and root on the Gophers (recognizing of course no way I could get tickets). It's still a venue I want to attend.

at yesterday’s game, she was crying while the trainer was looking at her back. last year, she injured her back and that kept her out of playing in the beginning Lexi is not hurt. The "trainer" was the team's sports psychologist, and they were not looking at her back. Cook said after the match that they were trying to let Lexi work through the fact that she wasn't having a great match. He said the team chemistry was off in the first three games and the team pulled their way out of it. There was a bit of shellshock from playing an Iowa team that looked completely different from a week ago.

If Nebraska plays like they did Saturday night, it will be over very quickly.

If Nebraska plays like they did Saturday night, it will be over very quickly. Nebraska doesn't tend to lay an egg against better teams. Last one I can recall would probably be at home against Minnesota last year but even in that match they took a set and were within striking distance of another. They get sloppy in a lot of trap matches though...

What's your definition of "laying an egg"? How would you categorize this year's Stanford and Wisconsin game?

If Nebraska plays like they did against Iowa, it will be a fast three and out
