The Wisconsin match was close and the Stanford match was a young Nebraska team in September being outmatched by nearly the entire returning National Championship team. Not often you can say this, but the Wisconsin match was a very close sweep and the Stanford match was a 4-set butt whoopin. It is in fact true

THAT hit to the head, however, would give most people a concussion, I bet. She just saw stars ... no big deal The stars seen Lexi, after the match they followed her on Twitter...

I have a few concerns about the Nebraska development this season. Though they have improved, the errors and inconsistencies on their side of the net is uncomfortable to see at this point of the season.
Granted, the IA match was disturbing to sit through. But they've had a few recent matches that were a bit similar.
I thought they'd be playing at a much higher level thus far. I'm not too confident going into these next 2 matches. I really hope they can figure out a way to get it going.
I will say the Nebraska freshman are going to be gems down the road. Kubik and knuckles have really improved.
But, the sophomores and juniors need to get it going. I see a lack of urgency and drive on the court like I've been used to.
Come on BIG RED.... LETS GO ALREADY

LETS GO ALREADY Individually Sun is a much better player than last year, Kubik has greatly improved this season as has Knuckles. I agree Kubik and Knuckles are going to be big time players. I think you can’t put Stivrins and Hames in the group that lacks urgency. Reality is that Jazz and Callie are “flat liners” in terms of energy/charisma etc. it’s just who they are as players. I’m sure they are marvelous people and I think both are good players so I’m more commenting on “how they play” than how well they play. i thought at this point they’d be a better serve and pass team which is the area of the game they’ve really just been better at then nearly everyone the past 3-4 years. I’ll call it it a coin toss, slight advantage to Gophers at home.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY It's another busy weekend on campus so fans are suggested to plan for the appropriate time to this weekend's matches. Gopher men's hockey faces Wisconsin Friday at 7 p.m., while Gopher volleyball begins at 8 p.m. Both men's hockey and volleyball are in action at 7 p.m., Saturday. Fans are suggested to park in 4th Ave ramp.

What's the ramp that's on the side of what used to be the Radisson University Hotel on the East Bank (I think there is/was a Radisson Hotel University hotel or something like that on the West Bank as well)? Is that hotel still there?
