Not surprising. I watched the episode of Out of System where they toured the Nebraska facilities... it's super nice -- yes we have Austin, but in terms of volleyball dedicated facilities and fanbase, I was envious. lol wrong state to support anything other than football.. I still can't get over how much money they spend on some of our high school football stadiums😭 Decades ago I remember the joke was that Oklahoma was the only state that had new football gear in every school, but had mispelled words on billboards. Probably could say that about a number of states now.

My hope is when/if they were to win another championship that some major renos happen to Gregory Gym. I know she's old old but I would like to see the capacity expanded, as well as a teraflex floor provided. Would love to see the capacity reach at least 6k. I just assumed that if Jerritt wanted a teraflex floor instead of real wood, he'd get one simply by asking his boss. Not sure if that's accurate, though.

They just renovated the team's off-court area (locker room, lounges, study areas, etc.) and practice areas 2-3 years ago. They had a show on LHN where Orie led a camera crew through the areas showing off the renovations. They were quite nice and it would be hard to think of any significant improvement that they needed. As far as Gregory, my understanding is that it would structurally be very difficult to expand the seating capacity without basically gutting the building around the gym and rebuilding it. Heard some comments that it would be cheaper to tear it down and rebuild than try to substantially renovate it. I suspect the bleachers are so close to the court was an attempt to squeeze in every possible seat during the last renovation. Got to remember that it is a 1920's building that's already undergone two major renovations. Just so much you can do without tearing down and starting new.

Looks like she has a quick arm and hits with good velocity. Kind of reminds me of the OH’s with Louisville.

Watching 2022 Commit Kenna Miller in a high school playoff game
Interestingly, she’s only played the front three rotations…

I wouldn’t put as much credence in Prep Volleyball recruiting ratings and rankings anymore. It was sold and not of previous quality, from what i know. It was unique but no longer gospel. If it ever was. Besides some parity is showing up more frequently and more good players are developing all over the country. Imo.

She’s top 5 based on potential alone.

Byrd at #19 is a joke but so is PrepV Who tf is ahead of her? She’s top 5 based on potential alone. The same goes for Helmers. There is no way she is #22 in her class so I do expect her to be a top 10-15 player in the end. Byrd also deserves to be a top 5 overall player.
