Looks like you were a bit premature in removing "2022" from your Subject line! You could have jinxed us!

Not sure if anyone just has time to waste like myself, but here’s a full match at the FIVB U18 World Championships. Devin plying 6 rotations for as far as I’ve watched (skip to 11:50 for first serve). Pretty good 5 set win by USA. I think the fact that she is trusted to a full six rotations at the World Championships is telling and should be taken unto consideration in regards to our pin depth in 2022. I’m looking forward to how she will fit into the puzzle.

Updated Page 1 with the scholarship count/estimate. NIL may make this very fuzzy in the future.

That’s awesome! Have seen her play over the last few seasons and she’s a great player. Very much improved over the years. I'm not trying to be sarcastic, but....REALLY?
You are...as you say a volleyball freak, and obviously know much more about her.
I, a lay fan, had to look up Justin, TX to see where the heck it is (and I live in Texas!)
Any quick facts about her? I think the assumption that she was a walkon because the first question about her was "Who?"
I’ll save my opinion until they get on campus but never forget many people said Jhenna who?

I meant it as, "Another great OH hitter? Then, why a walk-on?" But, this was in light of my view that we had stacks of hitters in front of her. Gulp.

I didn’t think it was mean, after following HS football and basketball recruiting for 30+ years I realize recruit rankings mean something but they don’t mean everything. For Kenna it could just be she loves UT and that’s where she wants to get her degree, who knows. Looking at her brief highlight film I would doubt some university wouldn’t offer her a scholarship.

Agreed - HS is an indication, but lots of players blossom in college. Look at Tori Dilfer and Anna Stevenson. Even Fleck. Also, our very own Jhenna.

Dilfer and Jhenna are great examples, Stevenson I assume too but know nothing about her early career. Talking to Trent during the TCU-Texas match when Jhenna took over I remember him saying she didn’t have many offers but she was impressive at the age without a great supporting cast in TCU. I did jokingly ask if she would consider transferring to UT. Several months later she was in Louisville.
