Just re-watched the 1st set, her setting was fine. Late in the set Wenaas provides a bad pass, Swindle chases it and provides a pretty good running bump set behind her allowing Wenaas to take a good swing. Wenaas gets roofed by a 5’7 setter. Now her blocking or lack there of… Her setting is not fine. sure she has her moments, but more often than not, she is not giving her hitters opportunities. She will get better, shes only a freshman, but right now its rough. Her setting is not the only reason Jenna struggles but it does play a part imo lol your comparing her to a 5th year senior and IMO the best setter in the tournament last year of course there is a decline. Is O’Neal as effective? No but she’s hitting .394 on the season, you all act like she’s totally incompetent at setting. O’Neal had good sets and good balls and didn’t terminate last night on multiple occasions, that’s unusual but it happens. Again, I would like her to be better but her blocking was a much bigger problem than her setting last night. |

I’m sure Ohio State will figure it out. Not everyone is on scholarship and they will have some girls hitting the portal.
