I know there's a lot of speculation about Devin, but I'm wondering if maybe she puts a lot of value in playing at a school that's a serious contender in both indoor and beach VB? I know our beach program is new, but Metzger is as serious a get as they come and you know the administration is going all-in on the program to make it a powerhouse. Plus she doesn't have to interrupt her life or education, and maybe pick up a couple of more rings for her empty fingers . . . |

If actually starting isn't a huge priority for Devin, I don't know why she'd have a reason to leave. I assume she likes Austin and the school (otherwise she would have left earlier), it's still an insanely competitive gym so she IS playing at the highest level, and she's probably also getting a sizable amount of pay to play. Seems like a pretty sweet gig to me. |

There will be plenty of recruiting targets there in other classes as well, most notably the top three 2026 targets for Texas IMO. Keoni Williams (MB Dallas Skyline) Henley Anderson (OH Austin Skyline) Halle Thompson (OH Houston Skyline) Other players to watch out for 1. Basically the entire 16R Houston Skyline roster will be there. They are loaded 2. Some out of state pins Texas and other top programs could have interest in are Watson (Vegas Aces), Krystkowiak (WAVE), and Larkin (AZ Storm) 3. Setters to keep an eye on would be Hoppe (AVCleveland), Harris (NCVA), Bulatovic (1st Alliance) and Thiebaud (Hou Skyline) There’s a LOT of pin talent Texas could go after. Although I really don’t see Texas taking more than 2 in the 26 class, there are a lot of options regardless. |

It takes quite the academic record to get admitted to Texas these days as a regular student. Probably easier as a walkon student-athlete. For all we know, Kalin getting admitted to Texas is what motivated Averi to transfer to Texas . . . |
