In a weekend where Penn state is dropping sets to Towson, Creighton has match points @ Minnesota, UCSB pushes Texas to 5, Nebraska is a couple points away from going 5 with Missouri, South Carolina is challenging to Washington to deuce sets, there is no reason to be singling out Pitt as overrated and not worthy of a top 4 seed.

Yet all of those teams found a way to win, so your argument doesn’t really make sense.

Well if you think the only thing that matters re this topic is whether you win or lose, then you are missing the point. If the only thing that justifies Texas being worthy of its top 4 seed is that it won v UCSB, then you could say a number of teams were worthy of a top 4 seed.

Most on here knew that they didn't have the body of work to get one. You were more upset that Wisconsin was the #4 seed than you were upset that Pittsburgh was the #6 seed. How many threads did you start Sunday and Monday complaining about every conspiracy theory under the sun?
Pittsburgh pretty much choked in the fifth set; don't think that can be argued. The other teams you noted found a way to win despite facing adversary in their matches.

Pitt lost, but the amount of hate they got on social media was sorta annoying. Like sure they lost to Cincinnati, but that doesn't mean they should be clowned on so much

With the exception that these teams actually won their match and prevented a P5 upset.

But you are discrediting the fact that everyone never thought that UCSB was that good to push Texas to 5 on one of the toughest gyms to play at.
