This is a tough question. I think a similar question was posed last year, but only for the top-4 seeds. In that case, the possible pitfall for Minnesota was obvious. There isn't one of those that really jumps out at me this year. UCLA could give Wisconsin fits. Colorado State could give Washington all it can handle. Good USC can take down Baylor. Creighton could topple Minnesota.
I am not picking any of those upsets, but if I were placing odds of it happening I'd go with Baylor, Washington, Wisconsin and Minnesota as the most likely upsets.
I think Pitt should be fine to make it to the Sweet 16. I love Jordan Thompson, but they still lost 6 matches with her against a pretty light schedule and were already swept once by Pitt, quite handily.

How good is Washington at serving and serve receive? The worst match up for CSU is a strong serving team. CSU also has very strong servers but serve receive can struggle. They have a huge block and a top 5 setter who plays the net very well.

UW was one of, if not the best serving team in the PAC.

IMO Washington is one if the best serving teams in the PAC. I'm not looking at stats but McPherson, Bajema, Powell, Dreschel, and especially Bogomolova are all lethal at the service line.

Going by aces/set, Washington was easily the strongest serving team in the PAC-12.
Could an "on" USC beat Baylor in the second round?
Yes. But it's hard to say for sure bc they haven't had a full squad in conference play except in the final game (which they lost to UCLA but Botkin was rusty and USC was definitely not "on").
