Baylor is vulnerable. Texas dismantled them in Austin. If Pressley isn't cooking then they could be in big trouble in any match.

How good is Washington at serving and serve receive? The worst match up for CSU is a strong serving team. CSU also has very strong servers but serve receive can struggle. They have a huge block and a top 5 setter who plays the net very well. Washington is the #1 team in the Pac-12 in serving

Could an "on" USC beat Baylor in the second round? Yes. Because USC has two 6-rotation OHs who are very good from the back row, a solid slide hitting MB, a crafty freshman OPP, and a very smart setter. What they lack is consistent serve receive but that's what Lanier excels at -- OOS balls. From what I've seen of Baylor, they're great in system but everything has to go through Pressley OOS. She's amazing but, if Milana isn't on the court, then their offense becomes very predictable. Their RS is non-existent offensively.

Could an "on" USC beat Baylor in the second round? With Botkin back, I think they could pull it off!

Could an "on" USC beat Baylor in the second round? If Botkin plays up to her pre injury level, Lanier and Lazaro play lights out and Gross and LeGrand contribute with solid play yes they can beat Baylor.

Could an "on" USC beat Baylor in the second round? How can they get back "on" ?
Losing at home to Oregon, winning at ASU with mediocre play, and being swept at home by UCLA doesn't instill much confidence they can right the ship in less than a week.

Back of the envelope calculation - the hardest to easiest:
1) Wisconsin 2) Washington 3) Minnesota 4) Nebraska 5) Baylor 6) Stanford 7) Pittsburgh 8) Texas
Wisconsin may have been fortunate to get a regional seed, but they didn't get a break in the subregional. Pittsburgh didn't get a tough subregional - but that potential regionals is murder.
So this makes most likely to get upset in the 1st two rounds:
1) Washington 2) Minnesota 3) Wisconsin 4) Nebraska 5) Baylor 6) Pittsburgh 7) Stanford 8) Texas

Wisconsin and Stanford have by far the toughest 1st round matches - which stinks for their opponents (Illinois State and Denver) since Wisconsin and Stanford are probably the 2 best teams.
Wisconsin and Washington probably have the toughest 2nd round matchups in UCLA and Colorado State. Stanford and Texas probably having the easiest 2nd round matchup.
