Gotta say I was impressed with Hames D. I'd rather have her than Iosia, shes not flashy but at least she doesn't constantly trap hitters on perfect passes lol. I thought that this was the best Hames set in transition this season. (Suns hitting percentage is a testament to that)

This thread reached a hundred pages on a 3-setter, anyone care to venture a guess where would this be had it turned out to be a 5-setter?
Kudos to Hawaii, that first set was nail biting. Have loads of respect for your program and the fanbase. And Nebraska, you need to up your level some more if you want to take down Wisconsin.I believe in you ladies. GBR!

I missed all the fun while at a Christmas party. Well, I guess it wasn't all that fun for Hawai'i losing like that but I haven't watched a single point of the match so I'll reserve judgment. Really going to miss Hawaii's Seniors, especially Norene and Bailey. Going to miss Rika too. Hawai'i will be back with a vengeance next season. All of their attackers (save McKenna Ross who played her heart out for us) are back next season and they are loading up with more recruits. Great season, Bows! It's a shame that Jolie got injured so early and was out for most of the season but you gave us one hell of a ride. Thank you! Congrats to Nebraska, and good luck tomorrow against a strong Badger team. It honestly was a great match.... Hawai'i really should've won the first set and the dynamic really changed after that This Badger fan found the match frustrating (first 2 sets...we left after that) as it was more about Hawaii making mistakes and giving away points than it was about Nebraska winning. Both set points 1 & 2 were Hawaii errors, for example. It totally could have been 2-0 Hawaii with less mistakes...the energy in the Field House was with the 'Bows about 75% of the time. I hope to see Hawaii improve (mature) for next year...their defense, particularly in the first set, was really impressive.

COngratulations to both teams for having great seasons. Good luck to the Cornhuskers against Wisconsin...should be an awesome match. To the Wahine, you've made your fan base proud by raising the bar this year. Keep improving and bringing in more talent and you will be competing for titles again.

Nebraska didn’t do anything positive , earn points or cause Wahine errors.😉

It's hard to get this many posts for a match that is swept 3-0.

Congrats Nebraska...great program, classy fanbase.
Back at ya Hawaii... let's do this again sometime eh?
What early season tournaments does Nebraska host if any? I’m sure we’ll end up going to the state of Texas again just because of our recruits but I wonder if we can make a more worthwhile trip and play 3 teams in a preseason weekend vs 2 @ Baylor with like no one in the stands lol

What happened to our feed KARCH! ESPN the most unreliable sports broadcasting there is in the business. The have crappy cameras, crappy angles and announcers that talk to the audience like children...not to mention, it is their fault we have such early matches, instead of spreading the matches out and playing more night time games, they must defend their channel lineups and force us into these horrible match times. Is it apparent how much I hate ESPN yet?

For that matter, neither did the Badgers today...before you begin your "rebuttal"...and they still won, too.
My main point was the Wahine had the match in hand several times, and dropped it. They tripped themselves up.

Who would have thought jazz sweet would our top offensive weapon.... proud of her I did, as it was evident in China how much she had improved and Lashes had made a connection with....just saying.

One was a really tight if not over set and the other was just an aggressive mental mistake.

I expected BVS to play well but good job by Ross. Looks like Hawaii's middles didn't contribute much offensively.

Freshman mistakes by Amber, but she will learn from them and be better for it, next year.
