So, with a press release, does this mean Springborn is on scholarship? They never do such pressers for walk-ons.

Hawaii fans, Akana ended up at Nebraska. What can you tell me about her? So it appears. Akana will be a great addition to Nebraska. Being recruited by the Huskers tells a lot about her skills. Wish she chose to stay instead. Thought she was already a lock in to be a Wahine. Congrats to her.

Also another reason why she chose Nebraska was to be both indoor and sand athlete. She probably was initially recruited to be both for USC. If she chose Hawaii, would she crack the top 5 flights in sand?

I’m a Nebraska fan and we just got a commitment from Keonilei Akana a libero/ds player from Hauula. She signed earlier with USC. I just wanted to know if anyone here can tell me anything about her.

Google is your friend, you should use it sometime. Ask sasa for more info. I don't usually follow Hawaii prep athletics.

Although, I didn't have the patience to search for it on UH's site I was in the process of typing this same thing out, but deleted it. I think with Hanawahine, they were able to announce her joining the team since she started school. Since Springborn hasn’t started school yet, my assumption is that she is receiving a scholarship. I could be totally wrong though. This quarantine has got my brain all messed up! Some days I don’t even know what day it is! Lol

I haven't worked since 3/9 (although that week I was on vacation from work - the following week my store closed because of the pandemic). I'm grateful for working at a company that is paying me till May 3rd whether I'm able to go to work or not. If I choose to go to work I get $3 more an hour. 🥰

With the way people are out & about hiking (probably excercise) & whatnot (my IG is full of people going out cruising it all over). Stay home people. My mom & me to a certain extent fall into the susceptible category.

If she chose Hawaii, would she crack the top 5 flights in sand? Going to Nebraska to play sand? That's funny. Nebraska's sand "season" is rubbish. And the training is mostly, if not all, indoors. There weren't any better options for her to play both?

Maybe Robyn Ah Mow can show him how to lead!

There is a local connection on the bench as well, Reyes and Ramos are (were?) both at Nebraska.

A lot of people (in Hawaii especially) need to educate themselves on what a governor can and can’t do in times like this. Keep politics off this thread 🙄
