Lexi sun is really good at swinging at a two ball down the middle. An x play. I really think they should implement that more into the attack.

Spring, baby!! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I think a very strong attempt will be made by the B1G to play as many sports as possible in the Spring. I think the B1G will push back into the Spring school season as far as they can to accommodate as many sports as possible. A vaccine would be nice, fans attending would be great, but my main reasoning is: It would be hard for a school to walk away from all of the B1G Conference money to be received - example: 54 million each in 2018 (the oldest 12 of 14 member schools). NO PLAY - NO PAY * The B1G Network should have record subscribers. ** I would love to see what Coach Cook presented to the B1G on behalf of the B1G Coaches for a Spring volleyball season looks like. ![8-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/nerd.png)

What player on the bench last season would have been a better option? I'm not convinced that Densberger would have been an upgrade, particularly when you consider factors beyond serve receive, such as floor defense and back row attack potential. who knows since it isn't an option that has or would be explored. When Lexi was injured at times, Zuhn subbed in and I believe stayed in for 5 of the 6 rotations, though I would need to recheck the video to validate that. But there is other conclusions...like instead of subbing Jazz, Miller would sub for Lexi...and whomever the next season's replacement of Miller is following that. I don't recall Zuhn playing in the back row at any point last season. I also thought of the possibility of Jazz playing six rotations, as that was a goal stated by Cook earlier in her career. However, there are obvious trade-offs with any of these scenarios and I have to believe statistics for passing, defense, etc. are kept for every practice throughout the season and that the coaches are considering those statistics when they decide on the lineup they think gives the team the best chance for success.

She is a strong , not great attacker at the net, I don’t see any value in keeping her in back row. To play all the way around you have to either be a strong passer/defender, or competent in those areas but be able to kill a lot of balls back there. She doesn’t fit either role.

Three weekends of nonconference starting Presidents Day weekend followed by the traditional 10 weeks/20 matches of conference play. A 3-week NCAA tourney puts the championship over Memorial Day weekend.

Or hold adult nationals wherever the tourney is held

I read somewhere that someone at UNL has been checking availability of venue and accommodations; presumably some (or all?) of that was done before the spring season proposal went to the B1G.

I wouldn't include passing. 6-rotation opposites typically aren't asked to pass. There are also plenty of 6-rotation opposites who are poor defenders, but make up for it with their hitting. I'm sure Jazz can hit out of the back – I actually think the biggest dependency for her to play 6-rotations is passing. If Sun, Kubik and Knuckles were a solid passing core, and the next best passer was a drop off from those 3, it would make sense to leave Jazz in. Similar line of thinking for a variation with a DS for one of the OHs, the other OH and Knuckles. Hames is obviously a big factor too.

I am not seeing Abby Johnson on the Roster! Did ssomething change? Not that I've heard. If you google "Abby Johnson Volleyball" her Husker bio page is the first that comes up, but the link isn't working, and she's not on the roster page. Maybe it's just a glitch.
