Why is this Fall of 2021 discussion still happening in the Spring thread? im pretty sure we're still waiting for vup or kingsley to finish the fancy fall thread lol |

We don’t know who will return, we don’t know it this covid nonsense will still be interfering with the normalcy of life and we don’t know know who the coaching staff will be (it never seems to stay the same does it?). Maybe we should wait until these issues are clear before we start putting a line-up on the court. In addition we don’t know how healed those with injuries will be in August. No one knows. But I can tell you, based on my own ACL operations, and friends and teammates ACL recoveries, Orr will not be 100%, nor will she be physically able to be the setter she wants or needs to be by this fall. I would be shocked if she doesn’t redshirt. This would also be seem best going forward. But the biggest obstacle to Orr being the Nebraska setter next fall is the performance of Nicklin Hames-she’s really good, she’s a leader and unseating her could destroy the chemistry of the team. I don’t see Cook doing that. When Dani Busboom was replaced at setter, she could be seamlessly moved to Libero-that won’t happen now. Dealing with the L/DS positions is going to be tricky enough without adding an AA setter to the mix. Replacing Hames at setter with a kid coming off of ACL surgery could destroy many years of carefully built culture. Does one person on this board know what stage of rehab and physical limits Orr is under today? Unless you have had this injury probably not. Nicklin Hames will be the starting setter next fall. ..and every Nebraska fan should be happy. The bigger question for me is, how much better will Nebraska’s passing be next fall with Rodriquez as the libero. The biggest question is why do you still post on VT? You have proven, over MANY posts, that you know nothing about volley. |

Do we expect at some point there will be another Fall 2021 thread started (the "fancy" one)? well it doesn't "technically" matter... I just know vup has made the NE thread for awhile now and it's nice to have a main thread where OP has useful information/stuff I don't need to look up in it. this Fall one doesnt have anything maybe its just me 🤷🏻♂️ |

How old are you/they? I know a handful of people who have have recovered 100% from ACL injuries fairly quickly--the caveat being they are all very recent. Obviously the further you go back, the more devastating this injury was. Technology has improved so much in this area (and is always improving) |

LOL, those eyelashes to become a story on their own Hey all - (Mods feel free to delete if I'm abusing any rules) I recently purchased a website with existing Husker content and there are articles about some of the volleyball players. There is one specifically about Nicklin and it mentions the amount of Google Searches - every month - that are done on Nicklin's eyelashes. Does anyone on this thread know the history of the story with her eyelashes? Did she mention it? Or is it just fan/social talk that started it?
