Iosia should start after 2 years of Petersen as previously mentioned. She is the most dynamic libero I’ve seen on the girl’s side and reminds me of the men’s liberos that can play about any position

I don't know I think losia can come in and start at libero if Peterson doesn't improve. She needs to work on her timing and staying light on her feet because she seems to react after its to late

Whoever gets the chance watch this match and you will see what I'm talking about. Im terms of her passing and play at the pins. Of course she is going to make mistakes I'm not saying she is perfect but she can handle her own Parra is an unreal player. Total score if she lands texas. Still believe cap could excel at 6 rotations tho Yeah capri Davis reminds me of pressley from baylor in terms of athleticism. If she works hard over the spring and summer then she can really become a dominant player. Do you know if she will be given a redshirt or will she be a junior?

Lastly and I'll be done talking for the night. If you have Instagram and you have parra just go to her Instagram and look at her ig story and you will see what I mean when I say when parra really wants to elevate she can elevate. When she really wants to jump she can go over any block she wants to

There were two of the highest rated I've seen in recent years in Kenzie Knuckles (Nebraska) and Georgia Murphy (Oregon) and both struggled in terms of their first contact. Barring a repeat performance of her tournament form from Petersen, I'd expect Iosia to be at DS for her first season. I agree though, she's an exciting player.

When she really wants to jump she can go over any block she wants to Not this again... Her spike height is listed at 249cm. That's 8'2. She can't "go over any block she wants to"... If you'll just stop saying factually inaccurate things, I'll stop correcting you.

You can correct whatever you want but at the end of the day I'm going to continue to say what the hell I want whenever I want🙄 it's beginning to get very annoying. From what I am watching and looking at she is getting set very high which is what micaya white did and she is contacting the ball at the same point as micaya white did and if micaya white did then I'm sure she can do the same. Like your info has no meaning to me and it's not going to stop me from saying what I want so just stop talking to me and thats just that. You see I stopped responding to you a long time ago which means I don't care for your conversation anymore. You can give your input on whatever you feel is relevant and I will do the same. So don't say anything to me and we can keep it at that💯 thank you very much

I’m really interested to see how Jerritt will use Melanie especially since she is so undersized, especially for Texas. She is listed at 176 cm which is a little over 5’ 9”. Hopefully she grows!!

Amen. She definitely has time. And even if she doesn't, she's a very talented player. It's just important to keep expectations in line with reality and not imagine she's gonna come swaggering in at 6'6 going over the top of any block she wants to... Edit: I should add that I've stood next to Yossiana Pressley and she's not even 6' and her height hasn't limited her game. So just because Parra is undersized doesn't mean can't play. Again, it's just about understanding where she's at right now and managing expectations.

Again, it's just about understanding where she's at right now and managing expectations. Going over the block is not the only way to score in volleyball. When I say she will be a threat it's with her choices and shot selection you don't have to hammer the ball to get a kill. Her IQ is what makes her a great player. She can go crosscourt or down the line or she can go deep opposite corner. Its all about what you make of the set and she will get many kills off of hammering the ball, going over the block, tooling the block, hitting down the line or deep corner. Again stop acting like I said she will come in and be national player of the year as a freshman. I said she is just what Texas needs to continue to dominate

However, maybe it will require Petersen to re-up her game to continue to wear the black, which could still be a win-win for Texas.

At the end of the day I said what I had to say and nothing has changed my mind whatsoever and I'm done talking about the conversation because it's very annoying so you all see things your way and I see them my way. That simple🤷🏽♂️💯
