This has been amusing to watch...Bigwest2 is kinda owning you right now. Just throw the dang towel! You’re getting too emotional and it’s making me laugh too hard 😂 I honestly don't believe I asked for your input but okay. At the end of the day I said what I had to say and nothing has changed my mind whatsoever and I'm done talking about the conversation because it's very annoying so you all see things your way and I see them my way. That simple🤷🏽♂️💯 This is a public forum (message board). If you don't want other people's input and you're going to whine and tantrum like you're 12, when people disagree with you. Then stop posting. That simple.

I definitely don't mind getting people's input but all that changes when people try to get smart or throw there two cents in a conversation that had nothing to do with them to begin with. Kind of like what you did. Its very annoying and im going to respond and clapback 99% of the time🤷🏽♂️ and if you don't like it well I really don't care 😬

Especially volleytalk. Public forums are open to anyone regardless of fanbase. Just because they aren't "Texas" fans it doesn't mean they can't post in a Texas thread. That's why this is a public forum. Again if you can't handle and find it annoying when someone disagrees with your opinion or wants to "clapback" at you than maybe you should think twice about posting here. And I could careless if "you don't care", your tantrums and whining when someone disagrees with you is just comical and makes you look childish and immature.

Watch: 13:45, 14:40, and 24:20 First and last shows she has the ability to hit over the block and the middle one shows her ability to press over the net. Is it perfect? No but it's nothing a little training cannot fix

I hope she is everything you hoped she would be so you don’t have to do to her jersey like Skip Bayless has done to Zeke’s 🗑. Don’t let your feelings get in the way of facts...hitting over the block anytime she wants? You ever thought about stand up?

No but it's nothing a little training cannot fix Oh my... I'm really not trying to upset you here but you KEEP saying stupid things. The block she's hitting over in that match belongs to Yohmara Rivera Guerrero (#14). She's 5'10. I don't think I need to explain why that's not the same as going over Marieke Van Der Mark, for instance. And if you slow down the clip at 14:40 it actually shows exactly what I was talking about; the tape is at her elbows and her hands don't cross the net. You can see it clearly from the angle right before (~14:31) since it's at the centre line (whereas the time code you showed is looking up toward Parra). Like others I'm starting to wonder why you're getting so emotional. Earlier in the thread you said (and I quote) "When she really wants to jump she can go over any block she wants to." Then when I posted her height (5'9) and spike height (8'2) you stated that going over a block isn't the only way to score... I'm aware of that. In my analysis I specifically stated she has developed a really nice cut shot among other options. You were the one who made her sound like Shaq with the "go over any block she wants to". That's the kind of nonsense that makes me pump the breaks. If you can avoid such hyperbole you won't have to keep reading my replies and we'll all be able to stop worrying about you. Merry Christmas btw!

I’m really interested to see how Jerritt will use Melanie especially since she is so undersized, especially for Texas. She is listed at 176 cm which is a little over 5’ 9”. Hopefully she grows!! Whenever I worry about a short OH, someone whispers "Amy Neal" and then I'm okay. Amy made you forget she was 5'9".

There are trolls to be sure. But that's what the BLOCK option is for. The truth is people want to see what others are writing about "our" program, so they don't take the block option. Or if they do, the peek at what they say because it's just too tempting not to. I've got lots of GBR and Wiscy "visitors" on my BLOCK list. If someone annoys you and if everything they say annoys you, just block them!

Parra is an unreal player. Total score if she lands texas. Still believe cap could excel at 6 rotations tho Yeah capri Davis reminds me of pressley from baylor in terms of athleticism. If she works hard over the spring and summer then she can really become a dominant player. Do you know if she will be given a redshirt or will she be a junior? Davis and Pressley are NOT the same. Their athletic make up are completely different through the power of their approach, touch height, and arm speed. This is not to say that Davis isn’t or won’t be a great player; but Pressley is special and her athleticism would be hard to emulate. And before you “clap back” at me, you need to understand that anything you post on a message board is subject to a reply from any poster at any given time. I get that you’re new here, but you won’t last long once some of these wittier, more knowledgeable posters get ahold of you.

If someone annoys you and if everything they say annoys you, just block them! Hah, I'm happy not to post here of the majority would prefer I didn't. I made a couple of data heavy posts during the tournament and they seemed to be well received; I specifically remember being told I was welcome in Texas threads "any time", so I subbed to the main ones. I'd gotten several DMs about Parra and having watched her a bit I'd been planning on doing a write up. Then I noticed the level of hype being spewed by some that simply don't know what they're looking at and figured it'd be a good time to "feed two birds with one scone". Parra has a lot of talent but overhyping a prospect can harm their development, particularly if there's an obvious area which would be considered a detriment; I.e. her height. Again, these aren't professional athletes we're talking about. They're teenaged girls and it's important to keep fanatical side of being a fan in check sometimes.

Merry Christmas btw! Lol im not even about to argue with you but she will not be playing 6'6 players every match. 5'10 - 6'3 is about the average height of players she will be playing of course there are some matches where she will be playing players the height of van der mark or players with the vertical of Presley but you adjust to your opponent. Take for instance amy neal in 2015 played against rhamat alhassan in the tournament and she put up 13 kills against the length of alhassan. My point this whole entire time is parra can put the ball down whether it be tipping, tooling, shot selection or simply hammering the ball down. Im not about to argue or go back and forth with you and I'm trying to not clapback or argue but what I won't do is continue to let you disrespect me

Everyone has the right to give their opinion on a player as will I. I have no problem with listening to what people have to say my problem comes in when people get disrespectful. When you began to insult me or call me stupid then of course I'm going to respond. I respect your opinion on what you had to say about davis and Presley. As far as the other people "getting a hold of me" I have no problem with responding to whomever.
