Seems like alternative, revisionist history...combined with a touch of parallel realities...is an tendency of some newer PSU types here. Go over to Dig Nittany kiddos! Wait, I don’t understand this; am I the one revising history? Nonono: the multiple-account Penn St/'gohuskervb' fan (adding their "expertise" here)!

I would have preferred more Lauren Clark. I think ACF will be given every chance to be one of starters this year. She had no competition last year. Psu was light. I think only reason. She leaves is if she feels she doesn’t beat out current competition. And that’s lack of confidence in self. She was a starter last year by default. But she was horrific Pretty much this. I would have preferred her too but prior to the past season start I think I read Clark wasn’t making the impact in practice Russ was hoping for.

Agreed. Why psu is having issue getting elite outsides is troublesome. I think it shows that Rockwell and Davidson may have had something to do with that recruiting as well as aird back then. And this is why I said I think we've seen our last title from Coach Rose. Something is off. He’s a good coach but I don’t think he was the recruiter getting those players there. It’s was the rockwells and Davidson’s and Airds. I think Davidson is still there. Didn’t she get promoted to assistant athletic director and in charge over overseeing multiple sports

But either way, not sure why anyone took offense to my comments. I realize there wasn’t much depth at the outside position, and stated that I hope and think Cathey would excel elsewhere. She didn’t produce good results, show me otherwise, instead of sending a weak jab.

Then what are you disagreeing with? Lol, no point in continually quoting my posts when I wasn’t talking to you then or initially. Nobody’s downplaying your -apparent fave, least of all me, but you’re clearly rattled about something. If we agree she didn’t have a good season/ show results then what’s the point of this conversation.

I think her being a weak option is more on the hands of the coaching staff than Cathey herself. Get a better option. Agreed. Why psu is having issue getting elite outsides is troublesome. I think it shows that Rockwell and Davidson may have had something to do with that recruiting as well as aird back then. PSU has had some great assistants and recruiters but let’s be clear, Russ Rose has always been their top recruiter.

Allyson Cathey officially off the newly posted 2020 roster. Anyone know why? This means even more likely that either AC plays six rotations or Jonni moves to the left side. Maybe even both happen.

PSU picks up Allison Holland (6’3” MB) for this season. She was previously committed to Tennessee.

If this wasn't Tennessee's decision (or mutual), she probably wouldn't be eligible for this fall assuming she signed an NLI. If she just bailed on Tennessee, I hope they wouldn't grant her release.
