I get the leadership thing BUT in 2017 we were a 'slip' away from Natty number 8. Washington, Lee, and Frantti had all the tools to win again as seniors the cards just didnt fall in their favor. Was there going to be a forfeit in the final? agree I like Florida’s chances against penn state. Nebraska was a bad MU for Florida IMO but Florida vs penn state would have been a lot closer

I think if one of the young outsides steps up psu will be fine. I’m betting on ACF. Parker will do Parker and they have very strong middles. I think blossom is one of best setters in BIG. I also think Hampton is better then people think. Is she white, no but I think she will be able to hold her own. It’s the second outside position that will determine how far psu goes again.

I would really like it if we didn't drag her and just wished her well. Yes, she was no Megan Hodge, but she was PSU's most complete outside hitter last year and did some nice things for them. I disagree she hurt them way more then she helped them If you are better than the other options, you’re giving your team the best chance to win.

Why psu is having issue getting elite outsides is troublesome. I think it shows that Rockwell and Davidson may have had something to do with that recruiting as well as aird back then.

This is why it made no sense to me when a PSU fan in this thread suggested that losing the commitment of Iman Ndiaye was...a blessing?!

Why have someone here who doesn’t want to be here?

Yah, unfortunately they don’t have much depth at the position, but she definitely wasn’t anything special, which I think everyone can agree on and I’m sure she’ll excel elsewhere at another school where she has potential to be more of a main stay, and not outright overshadowed. I would really like it if we didn't drag her and just wished her well. Yes, she was no Megan Hodge, but she was PSU's most complete outside hitter last year and did some nice things for them. Saying a player is subpar in correlation to her teammates is hardly “dragging” especially when she was surrounded by a lot of very high level players,

.....and she still started almost every game, because all of the other outside hitters on the team weren't better than her. I would have preferred more Lauren Clark. I think ACF will be given every chance to be one of starters this year. She had no competition last year. Psu was light. I think only reason. She leaves is if she feels she doesn’t beat out current competition. And that’s lack of confidence in self. She was a starter last year by default. But she was horrific Pretty much this.

She wasn’t subpar compared to her teammates. That’s why they didn’t beat her out, and it’s why she started ahead of them for the majority of the season.

Seems like alternative, revisionist history...combined with a touch of parallel realities...is an tendency of some newer PSU types here. Go over to Dig Nittany kiddos!
