If Florida can win again tomorrow, things get real interesting. UK will have to make up at least one series (USC,A&M), I would think. SCAR & A&M still have legitimate tournament hopes. The SEC would be doing a major disservice to those teams if they do not force at least one to be made up with Kentucky. |

And I don't think South Carolina can do much if they lose twice to LSU, including one sweep. But, you want to max out conference bids and it's not looking good for anyone in the SEC now. |

Arkansas stomping Carolina. Arkansas needs to sweep to have any chance at tournament hopes. And would help Head’s case for SEC FOY over Whitesides.

LSU survives in five over Georgia after being up 2-0 in the match. Tigers trailed 8-5 in the fifth then went on a 7-0 run before pulling it out 15-13.

LSU has got to be one of the most Jekyll and Hyde teams I can think of. They can look really good when things are flowing, but then it starts to fall apart, and it's hard to put a finger on why that is. From set to set, it can look so different. With everyone coming back in the fall, they should be more consistent... (??) |

They did fall off in the third and fourth sets but it looks worse on the box score than it looked on tape. They only hit .167 in the fourth but they fought pretty hard to make it a close set. Nice run in the fifth to close it out. Something they are not known to be able to do. So I say good job. And as Fran Flory said, "A win is a win." Should be fun tomorrow. |

Didn't end up being a stomp, but it was a nice, gritty win for the Hogs. Everyone except Cartwright put up some pretty solid attack numbers, and the Hog block showed some signs of life at key times. When Arkansas managed its first contact, things tended to go pretty well. I think it'll be another competitive game tomorrow. Glad the Hogs have this one in Barnhill. Have to say, though, that the Bama win over Tenn made be do a double take. Didn't see that one coming. |

Watson COY if they give it to the biggest leap from preseason poll and honestly he deserves it - he did so much with this young team it’s so impressive. If this was any other year there would be a tournament team but not sure about this year.

I am all for Watson for coy. but I was also all for Rackham for COY in 2018 where she did the same thing and got the vols into the tournament for the first time in 5(?) years and it went to Wise(?) or Skinner(?)... So who knows |
