Well since this is the 2020 thread I'll try to get it back on topic. I think the point is if CC can improve her passing numbers the Gophers could be even better in 2020. Regardless of the reason or intent of the poster that's what I'll take away from all this. Looking forward to spring ball!

While the posting of CC's stats seemed repetitive, surely, I appreciate in general the posting of such things. It can turn a perception in different ways. For example, a fair amount of WI fans, both here on VT and elsewhere, really ragged on Dodge, even though Sheffield said, and the stats bigwestfan can bring up, told the story of her being the best passer on the team. His bringing up the objective facts was a defense of her. I tried doing the same off of VT but I only got accused to have a bias. I'm not related to her, I just don't like emotional judgements in the face of opposing facts. For CC, passing stats don't tell the full story of her -- I like her and am looking forward to seeing her play (officially) in a few short (or long!) months, and unofficially in a few short weeks.

Zachary Bush named next volunteer assistant coach according to his instagram I couldn't find this on instagram or elsewhere. Also, is he related to any other Bush we know? It was on his Facebook.

No Rollins in the team photo... The tweet won’t let me see it, is it the actual team photo or just like a more casual photo that she may not have been there for ?

She could be sick, have a class, seeing the trainer, using the bathroom for gods sake 😂

Another tidbit I noticed from the pic: Landfair is every bit as tall as advertised! We haven’t seen quite that level of height on the left side since probably Kyla Roehrig (maybe excluding Martin).
EDIT: forgot about Love.

Well, I've been thinking about all that added height at the net for the Gophers. Also, we should have much improved MB's coming back. I am hoping that this can be the season that Minnesota will be able to stop or at least slow down the Hilley/Rettke slide. To me it will be interesting to see how Wisconsin can respond to that kind of height. Especially with a 6'7" OH across the net. What is Landfair's vertical?
Let the talk begin. It should be another fun upcoming season with, hopefully, Minnesota coming back out on top.

Blocking is one place where height matters but I remember how blocking seems to be something that takes the frosh a little more time to master. Offense should be exciting, but again, we have a freshman setter. I look forward to watching them improve as the season goes on.
