Really solid crew coming back. I forgot that Pittman was only a JR. Question for me is does Rollins keep her starting OH spot with Wenaas and Landfair coming in? And also, does Shaffmaster start from day 1 or does McMenimen get the nod?

Honestly, while they are losing good players, it looks like reloading to me. I am glad the Badgers finally beat them this season.

yes she is coming early and she will be good to go in the fall, some people wont let go of sss and want her to play like that, sss was 1 of a kind, let shaffmaster be her style

Shaffmaster might need a Bit of development but I'm pumped to see landfair

If Landfair can kill the ball at a high level, Wenaas and Rollins will duke it out for OH2. I just can’t see that pair of OHs having enough fire power.

Hoping Shaftmaster can develop and prove some people wrong

Yes she was a transfer from College of Southern Idaho where she was the AVCA Two-Year College Player of the Year in 2018.

Hope to see her on the court next year in some way!

If Miyabe isn’t going to get a lot of playing time I would love to see her redshirt and be the right side the following year. Does she have Olympic aspersions? Could she end up missing some time in 2020 because of it?

Miyabe has played with the Japan national team. How close she is to being an Olympian IDK. This will be a reloading year and I think Shafmaster will start right away - so it may be an up and down year with the development of these freshman. Its a very young team with the two sophomore middles, Kilkelly and these four freshman. I had heard somewhere that all four signees where coming in early; Can anyone confirm that?

What do you mean “two sophomore middles”? Pittman will be back right?

Also McGraw and Samedy will be upperclassmen. So Minnesota should be fine.

What do you mean “two sophomore middles”? Pittman will be back right?

Oh yeah, there won't be a shortage of senior leaders with Pittman, Samedy and Sheehan back.  But I have not seen a group of underclassman like we will have next year.  Most of them will see some playing time, IMO, and two of them will be starters - if not more.
