If we are going just talk something into existence, how about a top setter committing for 2021 - I here there are still a couple of good ones out there. 2022 would be ok too.

Uhhhhh no faith in Shaffmaster?? I have faith in Shaffmaster but we need more than 1 setter and Bayley will be a Jr. next year; graduates in 2022.

Regan Returns. Not every red shirt senior sticks around for the last year but she does. Hip Hip Hooray!

Isn’t Miyabe a junior? They didn’t list her in the article as a returning senior.

When was the last time a redshirt junior (who played significantly) didn’t return for their 5th year? This is not uncommon by any means.

Well, I didn't say "playing significantly" so I will ignore that part. At Minnesota, Toni Alugbue came to Minnesota her RS senior year to go to grad school. Similarly, not a redshirt but a graduating Junior, Gates transfered to Stanford. I'll add more as I come to them. Some just move on after they graduate.

I see that S Inna Balyko from Rutgers has entered the transfer portal...would be a good add for the Gophers!

Yes, I am. That's why I would rather see a commit for the future and not so much a one year transfer for now. However both would be nice. With concussion protocol and all we will need a deep bench.
