Any news or pics from the banquet would be appreciated, also a spring schedule!

Must have been an "exclusive" event which is bogus. You'd think season ticket holders would have been invited.

Let's just say I'm less than impressed with the University's marketing of the VB program. I've even donated money in the past but won't be doing that again until things change and they stop ignoring their fans.

I thought the same thing - I've been a season ticket holder for years, yet didn't hear about the banquet or the spring schedule.

Gophers Celebrate 2019 Season at Annual Banquet
Regan Pittman most outstanding player, blocker and server CC McGraw best passer and best digger and Gold Country award Lauren Litzau Academic award and Maurice Batie Teammate Award Alexis Hart Best Spiker and Strength and Conditioning Award Bayley McMenimen Most Improved. I've never been to a banquet, although I have been invited/notified in the past. Probably not a big enough donor for them anymore. I'm OK with that. They have to raise money somehow.

The Gophers are doing something different this year. There doesn't seem to be any of them attending USA tryouts. Perhaps they are finding it isn't valuable enough for an every year thing. It could also be that they are trying to work hard with the incoming setter to make sure all the connections will be good.

The majority of the players at the 'open' tryout are invited by USAV towards the end of the season. Some decline, of course, but colleges don't make that decision for players. Which brings me back to my question; which Gophers do you think were invited this year and chose not to go?
